According to the article, nearly half of Harry's net worth is inheritance from Diana's estate, which makes sense. It says he got $17 million when he turned 30.
She was also Zoe in Firefly ( the best show ever that fox killed). Zoe was a strong woman too.
I haven’t read all 32 pages of this thread but have to add that Gina Torres was the best dressed guest. She looked beautiful.
I think it's pretty darn great that Prince Harry got to not only fall in love with but also marry the woman he loves (instead of having his spouse pretty much picked for him) is pretty darn great. And what's also really great is how they were able to develop their relationship in private before the whole world found out and the papparazzi started following them around everywhere.
It’s not on Netflix anymore but is on Hulu and Amazon. It really was a great show and there was a follow up movie Serenity.I just remembered that she was in Alias. How could I forget that character? I just adore her.
I don't know Firefly, hopefully it's on Netflix. She's a great actress.
Oh my is right! I can't even imagine on all sides.
So many Oprah lovers on here.
I love Oprah. And bread.
Well you do have an outcome on your thoughts, unfortunately.
Me, not so much.
I don't like that she's being interviewed. And because I don't like Oprah, I think that makes it worse.
From what I understand, she and Laurence Fishburne separated last year. I think she was the only Suits cast member who didn't bring a plus one.

Sarah Ferguson couldn't.

I think they are adorable. I also think Meghan can handle the attention and the Royals(mostly the Queen). I think when she (Queen) passes and Charles really is too not motivated, there will be more progression on how things are different.
Meghan knows Harry has her back when he put out a statement after people writing some racial stuff.

And yes that last part, having your spouse/partner have your back is paramount to any relationship. Even more in their distinct situation. And you just didn't see it with his statement which was both just and smart, his reactions/body language shows how caring he will most likely be for her.
Oh thank Heavens!! Finally somebody that shares my outrage, although I'm sure you agree the real icing on the cake (no pun intended) was the travesty of the veil over her face. (Note to the Reader: This is satire, people. I'm pretty sure AnnaFloridaLover does NOT agree with a word I just said. )...BUT we cannot look away from the fact that Meghan had the audacity to wear a white wedding dress when she's not pure AND a divorcee. OMG! Anything but white! Pass me the smelling salts. Totally classless. She should be ashamed of herself instead of looking all smug and beautiful and (newly, really) rich. I mean at least Harry was pure standing up there all cute and handsome. Right?
I was OK with the dress; it looked fine. Maybe it's just me but I am not big on attracting undue attention, especially in a setting like the one we're talking about. Choosing the right wedding-guest attire can be tough for even much more mundane events than a Royal Wedding. (Lord knows we've seen it agonized over often enough on the CB.) I think something understated like what Oprah ended up in was a much more appropriate choice than the "show-stoppers" Amal Clooney and Charles Spencer's wife wore.I like her hat. And her dress (not the material though). But remain curious to see what her scrapped outfit looked like.
I like that idea...I like it a lot. I think I shall compile such a list for myself, so I'm ready to demure if called on to interface with Hollywood's who's who. I will start my list with Ellen Degeneres, Penn Jillette and just for @lisaviolet , Oprah Winfrey. My youngest daughter has a reputation for being very friendly, very easy going, never met someone who isn't a friend. Ironically she has a "list" of celebrities she will have no part of for reasons she cannot explain. The list is completely random and off the wall. I know that Morgan Freeman and Rachel Ray are on her list. It's always a head scratcher when she announces another name. I know my father could not stand Ethel Merman.
Good works are good works, and the impact on the lives of the needy doesn't change based on the character of the "benevolent" one. But if you're interested in things like this I recommend a book called Shadows of a Princess, about Diana, written by her long-time private secretary. It is far from a salacious tell-all; actually quite a snooze with all the copious facts, figures and minute details of what was a fairly dull routine. There are some eye-opening passages about how she chose the charities and causes she supported (and sometimes abruptly stopped supporting) though. Every one was carefully calculated for an effect of one kind or another....I must have a soft (blind?) spot for people publicly doing human rights stuff and getting involved with charities. When, for all I know, once they are at home, they could go around kicking puppies. ...
and just for @lisaviolet , Oprah Winfrey.
Shhshh...calm down, it's OK - I was just playing with you. She's not on my list - I don't passionately dislike her. In fact I'm so indifferent to Oprah I wouldn't waste list space.Noooooo!
Where the hell is all the Oprah love? Not only do I adore her I like quite a few shows on OWN, starting with Super Soul Sunday.

Evening reception - I would have loved to have seen some of the dresses. Hers was so beautiful, lovely on her. But it's nice that they had the privacy.

Looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
But then again dancing with Idris Elba pretty well covers a hell of a lot of fun.
