Hang out with your scrappin' peeps on Sunday 9/18

Here is a question...my one Disney ABC book is all B & W photos with only red, black, white and / or yellow paper. My letter B is for Balloons. It is a picture of DH and I holding the "magic" balloons. I converted the photo to black and white but left them colored. They are multi-colored. I have Disney color balloon paper (that doesn't exactly match the photo or I have balloon paper that has balloons the colors to match the photo. So, after all that, here is the question: do I use paper that does not exactly match the photo to a T or do I break the theme in the book and use the multi-colored paper?

I would keep to your theme, JMHO!!

Rachal, please rest today, hope the girls and your DBF are helpful when the baby comes home!

Here are the pages I have finished today.

posting pics is really hard from this computer!! They seem soooo small on the screen.

Cassey

Cassey those are beautiful! love all the swap pieces you used!!

Thanks Cassey!!! I did go ahead and switch the paper on the arrows though. I didn't switch the placement, just the covers!! It does look a bit better without the two zebras so close together!!

Thanks Cheryl!

Thank you Lisa!

Can't wait to see the new letters!

Thanks Jennifer!

Ugh....my has all of a sudden decided to stop by every 26 days instead of 28 in the past year! Isn't that so nice of her??!! I know it's only 2 days, but that's like 2 extra times per year or something like that!! Maybe not, but it still stinks! The good thing is, she will be here right before we go away!! So, no need to deal with it in Disney!!!!

Thanks so much Rachel!!!! You are so sweet!!! European History actually sounds like a fun class! Does that sound dorky? (I say this as I now listen to the Stray Cats!! Moving on to 80's mixes!!)

I'm really enjoying my Euro class. That doesn't sound dorky at all! And the textbook isn't that hard to read, either, which is nice.

RRachel, good luck with your studying!!

Thanks! I'm looking up definitions for an English vocab test this week.

Lisa, love the letters. I just ordered some villain stickers this morning to use on my villains letters.

Cassey

Lisa - those look great! You'll be ready to mail this week!!! Geez!!!

I think I agree with all of you! What I should have done was left the entire picture B & W, but I thought you lost the balloons that way. I am going to put something together and post a picture for opinions!!

thanks....do you think the V needs to have the stickers added?

jennifer, just went to look at the cruise swap....everything looks so cute! great job ladies!

It would drive me crazy to have one page that didn't match ;) Maybe just use some plain paper so the colored balloons really "pop"

Just coming on to say that it looks like I won't be able to join the group today. DH made a last minute golf date, so I need to take DS to soccer team pix in a bit. Plus, I paid for one more month on my subscription to Ancestry and it ends shortly, so I want to make the most of it for now, so I will spend my spare time with that. SO sorry, but thanks for the invite........P

I was planning to use fancy paper as my embellie on my villains letter also. So, I think it's fine that way!

okay I will keep it as is....I think it does look better without any other embellies

off to bag and label...

hmmm what character to do next....

yay! what did you get???

well the kids won't be bored in a few days, will hopefully be helping you with little Keegan!

Here's my

Lilo - I
Stitch - C
Villians - V - the paper is black sparkly...do you think it needs somthing else? I do have some Villians stickers I could include

I think they're pefect as is :) Love the Lilo & Stitch escecially :)

Ack!!!! This page is taking me forever! It is looking pretty good, though! Hope to have the rough draft to show soon!!

Good Afternoon- just arrived home from church and shopping so I hope to get to work soon.

MIght be able to play for a while too. I think I am going to work on my 2 inch letters as well. I got to crop for a while with my friend yesterday. My pages progressively got less creative as the day wore on, so I think I need to channel what creativity I have left on something smaller! :rotfl: I am going to post pictures on the swap thread. The swap items did make things go faster though.

Love the page Erin

Wish we could all crop together IRL some time?? :lmao:

It was amazing when a large group of us got together at Disney a few different times, I know a group from here goes to Lisa's crop on Cape Cod too. I am sure they have a great time.

Off to cut letter on the cricut. I check in a little later.

Okay, need opinions for this one, is the background paper ok? I just can't decide and I have spent too much time switching papers. UGH!
