I purchased a $300 Target egift card yesterday with the 10% off. Went to the Target in Stamford, CT today and converted that egift card into $300 in Disney gift cards without a problem.
While another 10% off would be REALLY nice.. After doing the math, I'd need to buy 96 $25 cards. Thanks you! I'll hold on for a few weeks then.. It would be really awesome to turn this into another 10% off! I have 6 Targets within my one hour commute!!
Do you have the premium card or the regular?we got 2% in disney dollars under the grocery store
Do you have the premium card or the regular?
And you can go online and look at your points. I used my disney visa for half and my kroger card for the other half.
I only have the regular card but I just went into my statement and clicked on the target purchase and it told me I got 2.70 in rewards from it. So you should be able to do the same.the one with the fee so premium gives 2% disney at grocery stores

I do not know if Target is considered grocery or not. I got a letter telling me I should upgrade this summer and when I went to compare the two, it listed all my purchases. For some reason, I did not upgrade at the time but I think I will now. I was very close getting $50 in points from the extra percent (to cover the additional fee). I was worried it would not be worth it. But now I see you get a $200 gift card for switching if you spend $500 in the first 3 months so I think I will.
Is Target going to discount the ACTUAL Disney gift cards this Saturday? I heard that from a friend....

I just returned from my Target store in Virginia and purchased $1800 worth of gift cards with the 10% discount from this past Sunday. I tried purchasing the gift cards on Sunday and every order I'd place got canceled. So, the Target manager honored the sale for me tonight. I thought this might help someone else who was unable to make their purchase on-line on Sunday.
I purchased a $300 Target gift card online on December 4th & got the discount, then used the gift card email printout to purchase $300 worth of Disney gift cards in the store on December 5th. No issues. I live in Texas.Would love to hear succes stories of purchasing Disney gift cards with the target gift cards that were purchased today. I know the Target GCs can be used starting 12/5. Please note what state you are in. I read somewhere that someone could not purchase Disney GCs with Target GCs in Washington state?!
No. You just keep entering the codes until your balance is paid off. For our last trip I had gift cards, a disney visa rewards card, and my disney visa card as different payment types.Do you have to combine the Disney cards on the Disney site if you want to use them to purchase tickets?
They hover. It drives me a little nuts when they start telling me what to do--I've got it figured out! (Of course I know they are trying to be helpful and keep the line moving and some people have no clue what they are doing.)so i just converted $300 Target GCs into $300 Disney GCs. i used self-check out. i did 2 separate transactions (i guess i could have just done one)...but i was also purchasing socks for a sock drive here at work for the homeless. anywhoo...while i was ringing up my socks, the lady 2 self-checkouts away from me needed help, so a target worker helped her out. i finished up my sock purchase and moved on to my Disney cards (with my Targets cards ready to go for payment). The Target worker that helped the other lady out was behind me watching me the entire time...I didn't even know it UNTIL my third Disney GC didn't ring up. The activation bar was a bit covered up. Then all of a sudden i hear from behind me "oh, you gotta just make sure the entire bar is showing". That caught me by surprise! So i scanned in the 3rd card and it was time to pay. I selected Target gift card, and scanned my first card. Then the target worker says "I don't think you can use it", but then sees that my first $100 Target gift card was accepted and now my balance is $200. So I scanned my other 2 target cards and was paid in full! She said "wow, you got a great deal!".
THE WHOLE time i was thinking "why is she here? I don't need help!". LOL
But it all worked out. I will be heading back in the next week or two to convert the rest of my $550 Target GCs.
Oh...and I'm in Washington state.
