Disney Projects (Activity Book, T-shirts, Noteboard for Door)

together.

Now I only have 3 more pages to do (pics from Oct '05 trip) and I can say "I AM DONE!" :cool1:

I wanted a Disney Activity Book for my DD2 to keep her busy on the plane ride and also introduce her to WDW. When I couldn't find what I wanted, I decided to make one myself.

IF it survives the trip, then I will use the pages as part of a scrapbook and add pictures from the trip to it so she can have her own book.

Hope you enjoy!

I. Coloring Pages
II. Photos of Disney Landmarks
III. Disney Games -- Numbers, Animals, Colors
IV. Sticker Fun
V. Which Princess are You? (Need to redo)
VI. Match the Characters
VII. Touch and Feel Disney Characters
VIII. Photos from last trip - TBD

This is a great idea Marshay. Can't wait to read on and see the product as it progresses!!!!

Now I start getting a little more involved...this is a zippered pouch that has Disney Princess Cards on it

I forgot to write on the back BEFORE I laminated so the ink isn't the best...

You can always use a sharpie when you write on the laminating film. Those things write on anything!!! I love sharpies. I have a huge set of them. Too bad I am not talented so I could really use them.

I am loving this scrapbook, really is cute and so creative, great ideas for fun!

Looks good.. maybe w/ the princesses.. you could do a matching game for her... 2 of each card.. flip them over and have her find the matches.. like memory... than if she beats mom... she gets a little Disney surprise that you have tucked away like a charm, keychain, stuffed animal, glow in the dark necklace...
I really think this book is cute.. We are off to a family event.. I will check in on the rest of the book later!!! :)

That is really an excellent idea. My DGS loves to play the memory game with a set of memory cards he has!!!

Your book is amazing. We are leaving in 25days. I may try to do this for my 2year old and have other activities for the rest of the family. We are driving from NJ. We have done many games in the car, but this is the fifth time driving there and we need something new. We are also driving to Buffalo next weekend and may run through all the games that we usually play on the way to FL. Thanks for sharing. I am going to scrap tonight and I may try to do a couple activitiy pages.
I can't wait to see the rest of your book.
Cindy

Maple Shade, NJ!!! Cool, I am originally from Pennsauken NJ (the Delair section) and my sister lived in Maple Shade for years when she first got married. Small world!

Here is the big cheese himself.

This page is another "touch and feel section" as Mickey's 'buttons' (pom poms) are cut out from the plastic page protecter

Also, all the Disney characters on these next few pages are laminated and attached to the page by a small circle of sticky velcro. This way DD can pull Mickey off and have him play with Pluto w/o destroying the pages.

Marshay, how about some cut outs of Mickey, Minnie and their clothes, make them velcro so DD can play "paperdolls" so to speak and dress the characters in their right clothes! I'm not very crafty and rarely have a decent idea, lol, but that just came to me as a possibility.

Great job with everything Marshay. I love it and I know DD will treasure it. When she's older and sees all the time and love you put into it she'll really know how much she was and is loved by her Mommy!

Wonderful idea ... I was thinking of something like this myself but told DH, that'll be for the next trip in Sept '08 ...Mickey and Friends Paperdolls!!

(or I could just tape the different clothes on instead of working with the velcro....hmmmm....)

Glad you liked my idea. If you don't have room for it this trip, well perhaps the next trip next year.

I don't know I like velcro as it can be used over and over, the tape may be harder to remove and change the clothes? Maybe get a stick of that Post-It Glue, that is removable and when it loses it's stickum you can put more on.

OK, the final 4 pages...

Here is the inside front cover (although I may try to get a pic of castle at night for the inside back cover...)

Some more photos from our last trip...the Mickey heads are cut out so she can touch the buttons.

And a picture of all of us. I told DH we'll have to make this an annual family portrait from now on.

Oh, I can't imagine that feeling -- part bliss (wow, I have time to myself again) and part bitter (my babies are growing up!)...we just have one DD right now (hope to make it 2 soon!).

Enjoy your time scrappin' and planning your disney trip! We hope to go again in Sept '08!

It looks great!!:thumbsup2

Do you hire out?:rotfl2:

You may just have inspired me to try a few pages of my own. Baby steps, though, baby steps.....

Yeah!! Just grab 3 photos, a background paper, another complementing one to do mattes around photos and some stickers. That's the easiest way to start!

Pretty soon you'll be doing ribbon, eyelets, cricut, buttons, etc! :goodvibes
