GOAL - 60 pounds

DIET - NutriSystem "Take the Weekends Off"

EXERCISE - mainly walking 20-30 minutes a day with weight training and resistance training 3 times a week.

PROGRESS -
1/18/06: - 4.5 lbs (55.5 to go)
1/24/06: - 2.4 lbs (53.1 to go)
1/31/06: - 3.3 lbs (49.8 to go)
2/07/06: - 2.6 lbs (47.2 to go)
2/14/06: - 1.8 lbs (45.4 to go)
2/21/06: - 1.4 lbs (44.0 to go)
5/2/06: -24 more pounds since 2/21 (20 pounds to go)
5/9/06: -1.2 lbs (18.8 to go)

5/14/06 LOST 10 lbs!! Yeah! Still on South BEach. Working toward 1/2 Maraton Feeling so much healthier!

Thanks for the Yahoos! I haven't been here much. Since I got serious about dieting and exercise (putting me first). I have been super busy and full of more energy.

I am super inspired checking in on all of you!

I am ready to sign up for the Disney 1/2 marathon in January! I think next week we will register! DH, my dad, my best friend and her Hubby are all in! I have a great support network! My Mom is even coming to watch my kids then play in the parks with us!!!

Elin, WOW it is great to see your progress!! Congrats!!

Just wanted to post that DH and I are signed up for the Disney 1/2 Marathon in January! My Best Friend from California & her Dh are coming in for it and my Dad will be there for it. I am scared to death, but am training so hard. My pants are loose and I am stronger everyday!

Anyone else doing the half or the whole marathon?

Thanks for telling me about signing onto the site. I will learn as I go along. Getting back to our discussion the other day, can you think of any restaurants to avoid or any that we definatley should try with the free dining plan? :cool1:

I am new to this area of the board. I am glad I found you guys.... I mainly stay close to the trip planning board.
Here is my story, and I am hoping I can stick to it.. :rotfl:
I have been working on lossing some weight since January at first the incentiive was for our trip in Sept 06. I have lost 14 lbs already, but last week I diagnosis diabetes type II, so now its for health reasons more than anything. :yay:

My Goal 35 more
Plan to continue 1 hour of cardio with weight training 4-5 time a week
Low carb/low sugar diet...
 
:welcome: Wyndi. This is the thread where we all update our progress but we have another thread called the Weight Loss Accountability thread where we chat, give each other support, etc. Come on over there. :wave:
 
Welcome, Wyndi! This is certainly the place to be for support and good times. We are all doing well on here with various diets and exercise regimes. Give a shout if you need any moral support or a kick in the pants. :)
