Here is my idea, it has two layers and a shadow, inked, water colored and I'm trying to decide what else to add.

Will this be okay or should I go in a different direction?
Complete rough draft, promise it will be much cleaner when done.

I wanted to put a seagull on top, but it's legs won't cut nicely at the proper size.

I was going to use the barrel as a shadow for an E, but you couldn't read RUM that way.

I changed out the top, I didn't like the texture there up close.
I added the cargo net as an embellishment.

I think this is my final draft.
