Jevs, I have no idea where these were taken, but I don't think I'd want to be wherever the first pic was taken. The beach looks nice, though.
For the longest time I thought your screen name meant you were "Newfoundlanders!"
I was referring to the DUH! Homer Simpson's mantra. As you have known, it is for Newfoundlanders. My reply was only referring to a few Disers in a recent thread in fun, whom thought it stood for Ned Flanders.
Prices are pretty ridiculous for every itinerary I've seen that includes Cuba - especially given that they're all priced in USD and exchange is a blood-bath right now. If you really want to see Cuba I'd suggest an AI would be a much better value. (Apologies in advance Aldio'ers ), that will change when and if American citizens get the OK to go there.
I'm curious about all your references to your Baker's Cyst. What kind of symptoms is it causing you? I have one too - a big one in my left knee. Other than an unpleasant tightness, which is made worse in hot weather like we're having now, and a bit of a twinge going down stairs, it's far from debilitating.
Sorry. I'd "like" this if it wasn't so grim. Very different from my experience. I've been to an orthopaedic surgeon who would have operated (the whole capsule has to be removed - draining is just a waste of time) but I declined because it really doesn't bug me very much.I've one behind each knee. The tightness is the lesser of my symptoms. The pain is 24/7 worsened in longer walks, and stairs are well, like the commercial aired here of a woman standing at the top of a set looking down in anguish because she can not navigate them. Trying to go up a set even more trying. I'm looking into laser therapy, and hoping it's not a snake oil hoax. There has been nothing my GP or another Dr. whom I did see as a second opinion can offer. Even draining them, the opinion of both Drs. is they'll just fill again. I've gained weight because of the lessened inactivity... sigh.

Do you have a surgical option? Seems necessary in your case - maybe time to get on the waiting list.Right choice. Why go there (surgery risks) unless it's necessary. I've understood different people have different degrees of pain with them. I've edited my previous post as I've lost some weight. My hopes are on this laser treatment but, it's only one area Chiropractor making claim he has a cure... sigh.
