This has NOT officially been announced by Disney. The fact that nobody else has whispered about this means it is very much a RUMOR at this time!!

Haven't watched the China film in a long time. But we probably visit Canada film every single time we walk by the pavilion in case the show time is like 5-10 min away. Recently started watching the France Beauty sing a long now that it's not the other film. Nothing against that one, but I always used it as a napping opportunity from the back row.

You could offer your nephew a cheddar bacon soup once you get to Canada, as consolation. The China film will still be going on - throughout reg. park hours.

Is there anything replacing the Friendship Faire after Sept 3rd? Maybe that's due to being closer to Halloween. I don't think there were any day parades scheduled in early Sept either.

I personally believe Tron and the railroad will be open on Oct 1st. When GOTG started ramping up their outside work they moved very swiftly. It seems like that’s what’s happening at Tron now. They’ll get the work done in August and early September with the rest of September for cast, AP, GO, D23, C33, and DVC previews.

To keep it on topic, Space Mountain will be moved from $LL to G+ shortly after Tron’s opening (which will be VQ and $LL). 7DMT will remain $LL for the foreseeable future.

This is just MY theory though so take it with a grain of salt but send me some pixie dust if I’m correct.

Sigh - I was one of the few holding out hope I could buy a later evening Remy instead of dealing with Genie+ refreshing to try and get the time we wanted (park hopping to Epcot for evening)... but happy for those it helps!!!

Good...next let's hope they do away with $ILL and just put ALL rides on G+ which will help with supply / demand for all of the rides and give us just one set of "rules" to keep track of. Even if they have to double the G+ price to make up for the lost &ILL revenue, I think it would be a better experience for the guests as well as the CM's who have to deal with frustrated guests under blue umbrellas.

I was also hoping for Remy to become ILL. My original plan was Remy ILL and Frozen LL. Just had to go through my plans and reconfigure what we'll do during our EPCOT day next week.

What they are doing is continuing what is now in effect past its potential expiration date. So, yes, it is effective "immediately" in that there will be no change from current procedure. (I assume you are asking about the change (non-change?) reported on this page rather than the changes made way back in February and May.)
