I am traveling today, but when I am home, I will list the people who are interested in a FE. I have not been involved before, but I would organize if no one else mentions it here.

Do you want FE adult group?

We did both Adult FE and Family FE groups on the Alaskan member cruise - but we never excluded anyone from joining any group or as many as they wanted.

If we do set up 2 groups to start, you can put us in the Adult FE. If we just want to keep a running group and split it similar to how you structured the CE, that's fine with us too. We're good either way. thanks.

Oh and that Candy Exchange sounds like a lot of fun. We'd love to join in.

The candy exchange is really easy. We picked a candy from our region and put some background info with it to hand out. Put it in the FE's of the ones on our list. Very similar to the gift exchange just with candy.

Hotel rates in NYC continue to drop as I get to week of arrival. I just rebooked my room as the rate has dropped again. It is now about half what I was quoted in May, can't believe it!

Those with pre-cruise stays might want to check back with your reservations again this week or next week.

Now, if I can only score more show tickets in one of the lotteries.....

I wish we could do a precruise stay. Work is not cooperating. I can't remember where you guys were staying but rebooking at around half the initial rate is excellent.

I let some other folks know this is available. No one ready to commit. Two camps- 1) too early 2) want to see what else is going on. We are not early breakfast people, but will set the cellphone clock, and the stateroom wake up call.

Printed out my signature form today, printed out our packing list, and our FE list!!! Getting real.

Going through Philly between 4-7 makes the time hard to estimate. Generally between 11-13 hours.

Tom is working on a plan to fit all our things in the one car.

if anyone is driving into the city Sunday, Google Tunnel to Towers Run NYC. Sunday morning is a very big race/walk to honor fallen firefighters from 9/11. It will effect the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel AKA HughCarey Tunnel , and lower Manhattan and surrounding areas.

Last year another couple showed up for a lunch meet in Cabanas with pin trading. It was fun. I am not bringing that many pins to trade this time. There is just so many things to try to schedule.

Hello, very excited for the upcoming member cruise. was just curious if there is going to be a fish extender exchange, my family and I are really interested in joining an exchange and for any other fun events planned. Also are there any themed nights on the member cruises and if anyone knows how do member cruises differ from regular DCL cruises. This is my first DVC member cruise and very excited!!!!

I've only been on one other DVCMC but the differences then were: gifts for everyone in the stateroom, not just one per stateroom; really, really special entertainers like I saw Susan Egan who was the first Belle; really, really special guest lecturers and lectures--plans for the parks, an idea session on what's next, Disney imagineers, executives, artists, Ducky on board doing drawings and lectures; did I mention gifts, gifts, gifts--so much fun! Make sure you have room in your suitcase to bring home stuff! It seemed like there was something new overtime I went back to the stateroom.

That's because you won't have enough time. Four days is never enough time on a Disney Cruise even without all the extra activities. I'm ready for FUN!

Movies - You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.


Now, I just called this number, and I think the CM gave me the list of what is presently showing on the Magic during its WBTA! She gave me a list of 15 movies!!

Queen of Katwe will be premiered onboard this Friday, so my guess is that one will be shown. Maybe calling closer to our sail date will get better information.
