Just what DID they do to the boards while they were down? I do see some changes, just not in the spped of things.

I know I should not complain for something I use for free . . . but, if these are the new servers, I don't know what the boards gained - almost every time has been slower than I remember!

Do you know how happy you would make that child if you took her on the Magic with Sophia & Savannah & Kaitlyn again??? We could even have you seated at our table since we don't have to operate in covert mode anymore.

Carla, we are even moving to EARLY SEATING so Savannah NEVER HAS TO BE SEPERATED AT ANY TIME. AHHH I have heard about that forever! Talked to DCL last week and made sure we have early seating.

This past week has been a scary one for my mom. And for me and Amber. We think she has breast cancer. She is not telling us the truth, she is not even telling us the same story. My sister, firstly is freaking since she feels its hereditary --- or contagious...me, I am frantic...for my mother....she is going through a divorce and my sister moved out about a year ago, so she is really on her own and is a very "keep to yourself" person.

V- sending healing thoughts to your mom. she probably is freaking herself and will need help from others during her treatment. maybe she needs a little time to accept her new reality. breast cancer can be hereditary - you should let your dr. know if this is her diagnosis because you should get an early mammogram so they have a baseline.

recovery rates for breast cancer are very good when caught early. make sure she gets the best of the best in terms of treatment and options available to her.

they are recommmending aspirin every day for anyone with family history. as others have said just let her know that you are there for her when she is ready to share.

Ohhh so tempting! What to do. I really want a special itinerary for 2008. I liked the idea of less school time off in 2008. But then = we also haven't done the eastern and if 2008 is a special itinerary perhaps... one never knows

Savannah will be going to court to divorce her parents if we are not on that cruise ship. DH looked at me and said, what about Hawaii? After I took a deep breath and looked at that sweet little girl, it was all over. I am such a push over!(ok, I had a great time too!)

Sophia says she hopes Bella gets better soon. Of course that was after she asked me if she was going to die or if she had cancer... Since Yia Yia died everyone who gets sick is in danger of dying.

We were in line at soar'n and I closed my eyes and rested my head on my arms on the railing and Sophia came over and said Mommy a re you OK? I said yes just tired, she said oh, you looked like you were dead.

Oh well, she was fascinatated with death before and now.....

It makes me feel so good when Savannah says I look like I am dead. It's quite a self esteem boost. Sophia has a good reason, so she is probably really concerned, not just hating your shirt.

I was over on Disney Shopping and just spent over $80.

Of course $45 (10% off) was on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse set for DD's birthday next month. It says it will ship in 4 weeks so I just have to hold my breath and pray that it will get her in time. It also means that I think I will select the Saturday after her actual birthday for her party.

Although since I needed to spend $75 to get free shipping I kept shopping. I was really shocked to find the Graco Princess baby gear marked down from $70 to $35 and then there was a $10 off code that could be used getting it down to $25 and then I still got another 10% off that so for just over $20 I and getting the whole set!!! That will hopefully be here in plenty of time for her birthday so if the clubhouse fails to show up at least I will have a backup. If not then I guess I may have bought my first Christmas present for next year. That would have to be a record for me!

This is the set I got her and based on her reaction to the little stroller she got yesterday I think she will love it!

Just why is the MMCH so much?? DD would love to have this for her b-day as well...

As for the baby doll set, I hope it is better than the one I got from them last yeyear. It looks better at least. The doll that went with it didn't even fit in any of the accessories.

Anyone willing to share Pirate Night (stage show and fireworks, general merriment) and shuttle launch pictures? I didn't bring my camera to either one. How dumb was that? I saved the ones that have been posted of the launch so far but I need more! I didn't see any on the snapfish site so far.

No pressure folks but could ya post em soon? I plan to finish my scrapbook by this weekend.... so I can show it to the in-laws on Christmas in hopes of convincing them to go on a Disney Cruise with us instead of dragging us to WDW... I love WDW but think DCL is much better for big family things, at least THIS family, lol.

On an emotional note, mom had picked out cards and some gifts for people back in November before she passed. It was hard to see that . . . and made me miss her presence even more. Christmas just isn't the same without your mom . . .

It took me several years to stop thinking that I needed to call my mother about stuff - not to even mention holidays. it was harder because I was a new mother then too.

I thought it was hard plastic actually - ours made it home in one piece but our cruise line picture frame from the Romance package was a casualty. the glass broke despite being wrapped in the DCL robe. alas.

But those of you with ill kids . . . did any of them have the flu mist/shot?

I am convinced that Sophia's Monday illness was the "I don't want to go back to school variety" - she is fit as a fiddle, and she DID have the flu mist before the cruise, and we all had the shot.

Just curious if this may have in fact helped us!

Savannah had the flu shot in October. She was quite sick with a cold for 3 days, but that is it.

We are going to see Priincesses on Ice tomorrow. My mom bought tickets and there are 8 of us going. Me ,my mom, my 3 girls and 3 nieces. It should be a lot of fun. I knew I had to have the 8-seater van for a reason. I really has come in handy on more than a few occasions.
