I have never had much luck rebooking onboard..I still can't believe she just went ahead and booked us when all I did was ask for a quote!!

Its unfortunate. She did say it was her first time on the ship but she appeared very knowledgable and competent. She specifically asked me about charging my debit card! :sad2:

Enough for pictures? You're more restrained than I am... I spent over $700 on pictures this cruise. :rolleyes1

OMG!!! I thought that the jump from 85 to 150 for the combo package was quite a jump for us.

Ooh she misled me - multiple tours vs. first trip . Liar liar pants on fire. No excuse. can you tell I'm tired and lacking adult interaction today

I received this one in email today:

Dear Santa,
I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor, sold sixty-two cases of cookie dough to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground. My kid got to go for a ride in a limosine as a reward for my hard work.

I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.

Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze; but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.

I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.

If you're haulin g big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music; a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals; and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.

On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.

I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Leave your brother alone," because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.

If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container.

If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely.

It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is ringing and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back.

Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold.
Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

Yours Always,
MOM

P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa.

:earseek:

I thought we did bad with the $200 package! I bet you are the winner in this category! ;)

We simply didn't have enough pictures taken this trip to get that many. :) Of course I am working on the 1800 on the memory cards.

When oh when will I be done with all of this laundry???? I found another bag of it in the last suitcase. :( :( :( :( The ironing is going to sit for a day or two. We have enough clothes to wear for a while. ;)

I let a neighbor's kid come over after school to help them out since they both had to go to a meeting this afternoon. Good grief!!! Instead of 2 bickering kids I had to deal with 3 of them. OY BOY! Glad he is gone! Dinner is in the oven & the living room is ALMOST cleaned up....of course the couches are loaded with things & I can't see the top of the dining room table but why should that be any different than normal, right? LOL!

PSST!!! Carla!!! Think about it.....dining in the private room at Palo with John1, Amy, Vanessa, John2, Angie, Dennis, Kim, Steve, Brack, Annette, Mike, & myself...while the girls are in the club having a blast together. :rolleyes1

I just transferred our 12/8/06 ressie to Dreams. We now have a 12 GTY and an additional $50 shipboard credit. :woohoo: :woohoo: Also canceled our transatlantic and tx that $1000 deposit to this one, so we owe less than $400! :yay: :dance3:

Ohhh so tempting! What to do. I really want a special itinerary for 2008. I liked the idea of less school time off in 2008. But then = we also haven't done the eastern and if 2008 is a special itinerary perhaps... :confused3 one never knows

Cool Beans Angie! :thumbsup2

DH gets 8% off macbook pro and 6% off macbook, 12% off applecare. Hmmm. That is one case where I wouldn't mind a co-birthday/christmas present! I would never in a million years ask for it but wouldn't that be cool. He still finds it hard to understand that I like gadgets over sparkly stuff. Well if the sparkly stuff is sapphires I'll take them but the gadgets are more gratifying I can use them daily and not be petrified of losing them.
