Why Not Make It Three??? Or maybe FOUR?!?!? Or just MAYBE FIVE!!!!!

Wow what an update! I remember you from your dining reports. Glad to hear the kids are doing well. Congrats on rediscovering your true love~it’s like a Disney story! 💕

Ok, well, a lot of this may be pictures only at this point but we'll see what I can do.

img_4357.jpg

Had to remember how to do that...LOL!

img_4359.jpg

img_4360.jpg

Still in Mexico here...

img_4361.jpg

Then it looks like we moved on...

img_4363.jpg

img_4365.jpg

So glad to hear all about the family. I cannot believe the kids are that but so glad they are doing well and you too. Looking forward to your reports.

So I figure an update on visuals might be nice, so here we go...
Here is Kaylee, Nayeli, and Logan...

Skye, Ty, and Emma when we went to St. Louis for Family Weekend...

The beautiful but annoying Elsa Jane...she was names Elsa because when we went to meet her, even though I said NO, she was a tiny thing and she kept pulling on Skye's shoelace and Skye finally said "sje just won't LET IT GO! So, Let It Go just kinda clicked and we all thought it was fitting...somewhere along the way Jane got added as her middle name...

For Halloween they had three costumes...can you guess what this one is supposed to be???

If you said Pain and Panic (Hercules) then you are correct (the others we the Spice Girls - Skye was Baby Spice- and Monster High Dolls)...Jack did NOT like this costume (any of them actually!)! LOL

Ya, my baby is NOT a baby anymore!

And then there's the love of my life, Jack!

It would be nice to take the whole family to Disney someday but not sure it will ever happen, for various reasons but we'll keep dreaming. Jack is very not a theme park kind of guy, or at least not yet so when we do get there, it may be a totally different kind of trip but we'll just have to wait and see!

So I have some food pics next but I am not sure what they are ... unfortunately a lot of my details were lost in the last move so I am winging it...never mind, I was able to find them...this is Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen.

So first is Horchata Cheesecake: Creamy rice cheesecake served with Cajeta Sauce ($5.00)...

img_4366.jpg

We all liked this and it was a decent size for the price.

Next is the Giant Tostada de Puerco : Braised pork served on a giant tostada with chipotle black bean spread, guajillo sauce, queso fresco, crema mexicana, pickled onion and topped with chicharron dust ($8.50)...

img_4367.jpg

I loved this! The kids wouldn't even try it...beans, yuck! But that is always good for me! LOL

And lastly is the Tamal de Pollo : Braised chipotle chicken served in a corn masa with yellow mole and topped with toasted pumpkin seeds, quest cotija and crema mexicana ($6.75)...

img_4368.jpg

And this was really good too! I think Skye tried some with as much of the "stuff" scraped off as possible but she didn't need more. Ty had no interest!

So I really enjoyed this booth but I love Mexican. Skye went to a predominantly Mexican high school for her first three years and they always made fun of her because her extent of Mexican was a plain cheese quesadilla...not even a taco!!! So I kinda knew going in that I was probably going to be the only one loving this one!

Our next stop was Feast of the Three Kings...

img_4369.jpg

We got an order of Arepas : topped with melted queso fresco ($4.50) ...

img_4371.jpg

Skyler loved these! She would have gotten more if she was actually eating to fill up here. They were good but a very plain choice, which is why she loved them. Tyler liked them too but I don't think Skye was sharing much!

We also got the Queso Fresco stuffed Arepa topped with shrimp, crushed avacado aji and tomato sauce ($6.00)...

img_4372.jpg

And as per protocol, I loved this and no one else would try it...but Skye was happy with her Arepas so all was good!

And somewhere in there Joffrey's coffee was gotten...I asume it was coffee...

img_4370.jpg

We kept moving after that...

img_4373.jpg

img_4374.jpg

And we headed up to check out the future Epcot at The Epcot Experience...

img_4375.jpg

img_4376.jpg
img_4377.jpg

img_4378.jpg

img_4379.jpg

img_4380.jpg

img_4382.jpg

img_4383.jpg

img_4384.jpg

img_4385.jpg

img_4386.jpg

img_4387.jpg

img_4388.jpg

img_4389.jpg

img_4390.jpg

img_4391.jpg

img_4392.jpg

img_4393.jpg

img_4394.jpg

img_4395.jpg

img_4396.jpg

img_4397.jpg

img_4398.jpg

img_4401.jpg

img_4402.jpg

It all looks great and we hoped it would become a reality but I believe a lot of it has been scrapped before it actually got started so we'll see ...

We came out to it starting to get dark...

img_4403.jpg

img_4405.jpg

img_4406.jpg

img_4407.jpg

img_4409.jpg

I never seem to be able to get enough pics of the ball!
img_4413.jpg

img_4410.jpg

Apparently we were heading out but stopped for a few more pics...
img_4414.jpg

img_4415.jpg

img_4416.jpg

img_4417.jpg

img_4418.jpg

Welp, I was wrong becasue we apparently went back to visit our favorite purple dragon...
img_4419.jpg

img_4420.jpg

img_4422.jpg

img_4423.jpg

img_4424.jpg

img_4425.jpg

img_4428.jpg

img_4429.jpg

img_4431.jpg

img_4432.jpg

img_4433.jpg

We all love Journey Into Imagination and would be sad to see if go. None of us remember the original version so I cannot say how we feel about that one versus the current one but we hope Figment stays.

Enjoying your updates! Glad you have found so much happiness! Its crazy how fast the kids grow up! SLU is an amazing school and St Louis is a great city (we live in the STL suburbs). We were at SLU last weekend for a Dance Competition!

After visiting with Figment we headed out again...

img_4437.jpg

img_4438.jpg

img_4439.jpg

img_4440.jpg

img_4441.jpg

img_4443.jpg

img_4444.jpg

And then we stopped to spend some time at another place that we don't even seem to spend enough time at...

The Seas...

img_4446.jpg

img_4448.jpg

img_4449.jpg

img_4455.jpg
img_4456.jpg

img_4460.jpg

img_4464.jpg
img_4465.jpg
img_4466.jpg
img_4468.jpg
img_4470.jpg
img_4472.jpg
img_4476.jpg
img_4477.jpg
img_4480.jpg

img_4482.jpg

img_4484.jpg

img_4486.jpg
img_4488.jpg

img_4491.jpg

img_4491.jpg

img_4496.jpg

img_4498.jpg

img_4499.jpg

img_4502.jpg

img_4507.jpg

img_4508.jpg
img_4511.jpg

img_4515.jpg

Now THAT was a cool pic!

img_4522.jpg

img_4523.jpg

img_4524.jpg

img_4527.jpg

img_4529.jpg

It must have been a late night at Epcot because we are hardly ever up front in the evening...we can never seem to pull ourselves away from The World Showcase!

WOW...that was a lot of The Seas!!!

Looks like we moved on to to the other side...

img_4530.jpg

img_4531.jpg

img_4532.jpg

img_4533.jpg

To Mission Space...

img_4534.jpg

img_4536.jpg

img_4537.jpg

Where Ty and I rode the baby side and Skye rode the big girl side! LOL...

We made it to Test Track next.

img_4539.jpg

img_4540.jpg

Me and Skye's car...

img_4541.jpg

And Ty's car.

img_4542.jpg

After Test Track we apparently headed out for home.

img_4544.jpg
img_4546.jpg

img_4547.jpg

img_4548.jpg

When we arrived back we stopped at World Premiere Food Court and brought our food back to our room.

We ordered a slice of Pepperoni Pizza with a breadstick...

img_4549.jpg

I assume this was something Skye and Tyler were sharing, along with a kid's Chicken Strips with fried. a chocolate chip cookie and a water. We always enjoy the pizza and breadsticks in Disney. The chicken strips were chicken strips. It was a lot of food for them to share.

img_4551.jpg

I got the kid's Cheeseburger (small angus burger topped with American on a bun) with fries, a cherry Jello and a milk. I added ketchup and it was plenty for what I needed at the time. Remember, we had a bevy of food in our room for snacking too!

img_4552.jpg

And there was a Cheddar Burger...1/3 pound grilled signature blend burger with brisket, short rib and chuck topped with cheddar, shredded lettuce, tomato and garlic ranch on a toasted brioche bun served with french fries...and a Strawberry milk.

img_4553.jpg

img_4555.jpg

This was really good, especially considering the late-ish hour. We have found that later at night, some of the food options leave something to be desired! But not this time...

Our total was about $25.00, so not bad for quite a bit of food!

So I found some notes so I'll be a little more informed...LOL!

On December 27, 2019 (Friday) we were up at 9:00am-ish and out of the room at 10:28am. We arrived to a waiting bus at 10:36am and arrived at the Magic Kingdom at 10:59am.

img_4556(1).jpg

img_4557(1).jpg

img_4558.jpg

img_4559.jpg

I used t love the decorations that went all the way across the street but I guess the parage floats were too tall for that anymore...BOO!

img_4560.jpg

We always love looking at the balloons but geeze, they're balloons and I have much better things to spend my fortune on when I'm there! LOL...

img_4561.jpg

img_4562.jpg

img_4563.jpg

We headed to the right...

img_4564.jpg

img_4565.jpg

img_4566.jpg

Ok, so there's never enough pictures of the castle either...

img_4567.jpg

img_4568.jpg

img_4569.jpg

img_4571.jpg

And we headed to our first fast pass of the day...

img_4572.jpg

We had fast passes and arrived at 11:11am. The stand-by line was at 110 minutes. We had a great ride and were walking off at 11:28am. As Cary was handing me back my new phone he dropped it and put a small crack in the top corner of the screen...I was not a happy camper! We apparently had Space Mountain fast passes but I was able to change them to a later time???

We must have hung out around the area, although i have no notes about what we did or pictures to prove it. We had lunch ADRs so we checked in at Liberty Tree Tavern at 11:40am.
img_4576.jpg

img_4573.jpg

img_4574.jpg

img_4575.jpg

We were seated in the section in the front of the left side.

img_4577.jpg

We gave our order and were brought drinks and condiments...

img_4580.jpg

For our food I ordered the Lobster Fritters Fried Lobster and Sweet Corn Fritters with Grilled Lemon Aïoli $9.00 as my meal

...

img_4581.jpg

img_4585.jpg

img_4586.jpg

They were really good and there was a lot of them. No one else wanted any so I was all good!

Skye ordered the Tavern Battered Fish and Chips House-made Tartar Sauce and Tavern Fries $19.00. She liked it...it was only one piece but it was pretty big so was plenty!

img_4582.jpg

Tyler ordered the Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, and Tavern Fries $20.00 with just lettuce (not even cheese???), of course!

img_4584.jpg

And there was also the Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, and Garden Vegetables $24.00 which was a huge portion compared to the other items we ordered. Skye snagged some green beans. It was actually really good too!

img_4583.jpg

We did get dessert also. Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake $10.00 was the choice here...and it was super good but what's not to like???

img_4587.jpg

So Lunch was around $100.00 but all was really good. We don't seem to think the all-you-care-to-eat menu is appealing for the cost so we have never done that here. It looks like possibly, that is the only option at lunch also now (it used to be the only option at dinner but not lunch) so we will probably never go back to Liberty Tree but I know a lot of people love the feast so there are other places we can visit.

So we crossed the park and took more castle pics. We stopped briefly to watch the show in progress in front of the castle.

img_4588.jpg

img_4591.jpg

img_4593.jpg

img_4594.jpg

img_4595.jpg

We headed over to the People Mover (we will forever call it that!)...we love this ride around Tomorrowland! It was 1:45pm and standby was 30 minutes!!!

img_4597.jpg

img_4598.jpg

img_4599.jpg

img_4600.jpg
img_4601.jpg

img_4602.jpg

img_4604.jpg

img_4606.jpg

img_4608.jpg

Can't wait to see what this looks like now!

img_4609.jpg

img_4610.jpg

img_4616.jpg

img_4618.jpg

img_4619.jpg

img_4619.jpg

I need a metal palm tree because I SSSSOOOO do NOT have a green thumb! I could use a castle too, but I'm trying to be a little more realistic than that...LOL!

img_4620.jpg

img_4621.jpg

img_4622.jpg

img_4623.jpg

img_4626.jpg

img_4627.jpg

We were off at 2:08pm and headed for Carousel of Progress. There was actually a crowd over there. I don't think we've ever been in a theater that full before (not that it was full but way more than normal!) but there are plenty of seats in there so it was all good!

img_4628.jpg

img_4629.jpg

The kids have always loved this attraction. We had a tape that we would play when Tyler was a baby in a crib and was falling asleep that the song was on so he has always loved the Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

At about 2:40pm we headed back to our next fast passes. We got to The Haunted Mansion at 2:50pm and the standby line was almost all the way back to Columbia Harbour House ... it was a 120 minute wait!!!

img_4630.jpg

img_4631.jpg

img_4633.jpg

img_4634.jpg

img_4635.jpg

We were off at 3:16pm. As we walked to our next destination we got to watch some of the parade...never a bad thing!

We got up to where Tinkerbell was seeing guests and the standby sign said 35 minutes but it was a walk in...

img_4637.jpg

img_4638.jpg
img_4639.jpg

img_4640.jpg

img_4642.jpg
img_4645.jpg

Tink is always a great meet and greet...we used to tall Skyler she could be Tinkerbell when she was old enough. She might be too tall now...who woulda thunk that 11 pound 2 ounce baby who was the size of a small 5 year old until she was about 12 would be about my height some day???

We walked back down Main Street looking through the shops along the way.
img_4651.jpg
img_4652.jpg

img_4654.jpg
img_4655.jpg

We wanted to use the restroom but we were heading to eat and the line by Pinocchio's Village Haus was super long??? So after that ordeal we headed in to dinner.

img_4656.jpg

It was FREEZING in there! It wasn't too crowded though so we ordered and the kids were able to snag their favorite table.

img_4657.jpg
img_4658.jpg
img_4667.jpg
img_4666.jpg

We decided to order three things here again. We got the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich...Panko-coated Chicken Breast on a Brioche Bun topped with Provolone Cheese and Marinara Sauce served with French Fries ($10.49)...

img_4662.jpg

Tyler loved this...he is a chicken parm lover so this was right up his alley!

We also got the Kid's Pasta...Plain Pasta tossed in your choice of Marinara or Butter and served with choice of Sides and Beverage ($6.49). We got fries and a water.

img_4663.jpg

This was exactly what Skyler loves...LOL!

Then we ordered then Penne Pasta with Marinara ... Penne Pasta topped with marinara, parmesan cheese and a sprinkling of basil ($7.29) ... which is an adult sized version of what Skyler had...

img_4664.jpg

And a Side Antipasto Salad ... Romaine, tomatoes, diced cucumber, diced red onion, salami, provolone cheese, and diced ham tossed with balsamic vinaigrette ($4.49)

img_4665.jpg

I don't see any meat in this pic though so I am wondering if the 2019 menu online is a bit off. Either way, it was all very good and not too badly priced...it does help that we brought our own drinks though. We paid about $30.00 here and all left satisfied.

When we emerged, it was raining. So we donned out ponchos and wandered around Fantasyland for a bit.
img_4668.jpg

img_4669.jpg

img_4670.jpg

We jumped in line to see our favorite mermaid...it was a small wait but it was under cover so we didn't mind too much!

img_4671.jpg

img_4672.jpg

Ariel always has a lot to say!

img_4673.jpg

img_4674.jpg

img_4675.jpg

img_4676.jpg

img_4677.jpg

img_4678.jpg

We usually find Ariel with legs lacking in the Ariel-ness...but the Ariel here is usually spot on!

We went over to the Circus and it was pretty empty over there considering how busy it was in other parts of the park.

img_4679.jpg

We apparently got some snacks from the Big Top...I am going to guess what they were...

img_4680.jpg

I think this was a chocolate covered marshmallow...

img_4683.jpg

...a cake pop...

img_4684.jpg

...and I have no idea...LOL???

I imagine we liked them because, well, what's not to like???

We continued walking in the on and off rain, around the long way.

img_4686.jpg

img_4688.jpg

img_4690.jpg

Until we got tired of the rain and around 6:33pm we stopped in to see Sonny Eclipse and try our hands at being hobbits and have second dinner...

img_4693.jpg

img_4694.jpg

Tyler found us a table on the floor and we ordered. First up was the kid's Mac & Cheese ... with fries, a mandarin orange, and a water($6.69).

img_4695.jpg

Skye has never found a mac & Cheese in The World that she hasn't liked!

Then we got a Chili Mac & Cheese foot long Hot Dog...All-Beef Foot-long Hot Dog topped with Chili and mac & Cheese served with French Fries ($13.49)

img_4697.jpg

This was messy but really good!

We also got an order of chili cheese fries ($6.49) that is no longer on the menu. These were good too!

img_4696.jpg

I find it difficult to believe Tyler didn't order anything but I don't have other actual food pics here so who knows...Maybe they shared???

For dessert we ordered a Mickey Sundae (that is also not on the menu anymore) that was vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a cherry and two chocolate cookies ($4.49).

img_4698.jpg

It was good but how do you mess up ice cream??? We enjoy Cosmic Ray's but it's not a must do...we spent about $32.00 here.

We sat there a while playing Uno.
