Oh you poor thing! (And your poor mom). Hope they let your DH out to collect your boy - over here we have legislation which means parents have to be given a certain amount of time if they need it. (Unpaid, but its a start!) Are there any mums at the school who could help out?

Ok, I just talked to Holly (10AM).. she is on her way back to the hospital. She was trying to pull herself together in the parking lot to go in and see mom.. As expected she is very nervous and scared. When she spoke to mom this morning, mom said they were having a surgeon and a specialist come in. I told her to call me and updated me as soon as she can... and to tell her mom that all of her adopted DIS daughters were there for her!!

Continued prayers and pixie dust for them!!!

Wish I could be there to get Bubba off the bus for you... You know I would in a heart beat.. heck, if I had the free time.. while I was waiting for Bubba, I'd clean the house.. When I'm nervous.. I clean!

Ok gals,
I got a call from Holly about 12:30pm today.. I listened to her and wanted to wait until I verified with her that I could post this..
They had a surgeon and C doctor come in and talk to mom this AM. The C has returned. They say they are going to start chemo/radiation on her.

Please keep Holly's mom and the family in your thoughts/prayers..it's gonna be a tough battle...

Holly, as always, I'm here any time... and continued prayers from our home to yours!!

Holly, I am so, so sorry, If there is anything we can do, please let us know. I am not that far away.

Boston is great for treatment. Calanniebu referred the best pulmonary dr for my mom up there, and you know from conversations we've had that SF c treatments have been going real well with the dr up there.

I know your mind must be going a 100 miles per minute. Stop for a second, take a deep breath, forgetabout mt washmore, forgetabout your irresponsible siblings, make sure you eat and rest. You need to take care of yourself so you can take care of your loved ones.
