Always love your shots Scott...

Now that you're going for a second time, you'll know where to position yourself for fireworks!

Unlike Magic Kingdom fireworks, you don't find many great shots of the fireworks off the fantasy -- I attribute it to the brevity of the show, just once per cruise... and even skilled photographers don't have enough time to find the best positioning. I realized after the fact, that too much of my view was being blocked by the AquaDuck.

Thanks!!! But we'll probably want to be in the middle of the action; as far as the show and everything is concerned.

@SrisonS

Excellent shots, did you use a neutral density filter on any of these outdoor shots?

Also, I saw your link to your trip report and I'm slowing reading through it. Next March we are on the Fantasy cruise and looking for any and all tips to make the most of the trip.

Thanks!!! And I didn't use a filter for any of my shots.

I'll actually be back on the Fantasy near the end of October. I might do a trip report for that one as well. But you'll have an amazing time on the ship.

Unbelievable! Well done capturing all the details in darker areas without over exposing all the highlights. I was sure you were using filter to allow the dark textures into your picture while at the same time keeping that beautiful sky exposure. Lightroom helps but it takes a quality picture to start with!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who hopes you do! Thanks, we are all really looking forward to it. I'm considering taking either a Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 or the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 but looking at your shots, I think the 14-24 should be plenty wide enough.

@Havoc315 - Great shots! Question about the last one you posted. When we go on our Cruise we are staying in the back 4 staterooms around 10662-10668. I appears the fireworks are off the side of the ship, but I read somewhere that these rooms are perfect for private viewing of the fireworks. Any thoughts if we would be able to see them clearly from the very aft of the ship? Thanks!
