I can not wait - I love what I sent. I hope you do.

Pause for a pat on the back. My 78 (79 on August 3rd) Mom had knee replacement surgery on Tuesday. ( She did great.) Juggling between hospital and making sure her home is ready for her rehap, I am proud I lived up to my commitment.

I will be gone for a while taking care of my Mom - but I will be baaaaaaaack.

Ok everyone, have a seat , 'cuz this may take awhile!
As anyone who has ever received an exchange package from our hostess Nancy knows, they are always sent with MANY extras! Nancy goes above and beyond the call of duty and spoils all of us! I was the lucky recepient of one of her packages this morning, and I must say, it couldn't have come at a better time - I have had a rough week and this just made it so much better! Thank you so much, Nancy - many hugs to you!!!!

Ok - now for the goodies..........
**not one, but TWO beautiful Tinkerbell ornaments
**an adorable Disneyland 50th Anniversary ornament
**a cute stocking filled with chocolates[Lindt and Ghiredelli included!], candy, and two little holiday rings that I am sure my nephews will confiscate!

wait - I am not done!

** a Santa mug filled with fancy hot chocolate mixes[DD18 is a hot chocolate drinker and has begged for these]
** a green kitchen towel trimmed in red with a white snowman embroidered on it
** several holiday bookmark recipe cards [ these are neat - I have never seen them before]

and a beautiful Mickey Holiday card with holiday confetti inside.

Thank you again Nancy - your package brought a much needed spark into my day.

Jordans package came yesterday. I am not sure what was inside, I will find out tonight. I know there was pirates patch, pirate chapstick, a red stocking, a Boston Redsox soft ball, btw he loves the Redsox. His first baseball game was the Mariners vs the Redsox. There were also a few other items. I will post them later. thanks

Ok..so the mail-lady beeps today...I go out to get the package and see the return name and address...my first thought: Yeah!! I got a package from Merriweather!!

So I got thoughts of cool stuff!!

a Christmas card - A Mickey one!! with confetti!!
I got 2 Christmas rings - DD9 has already taken them!!
a cute snowman mug with 3 different hot chocolates in it!! (Dh will so take
the mint!!)
2 recipe bookmarks - very cool!!
a green dishtowel with a snowman-matches the green in my kitchen!!
a snowman stocking filled with candies!! I've never seen the candy cane kisses before!
A DIS pin with my Dis-name on it This is so cool!! I'll be wearing it in September!!
