I got that but did not do the 50 transactions so it was not for that.
Awww, dang! Well, they will show up sooner or later.

My DS is 17 and heading to college in the Fall of 2022 . Is there anything I can/should be doing now to help him establish credit? He’s got a debit card attached to his checking account that he uses for all of his expenses. I’m wondering if I should make him an AU on one of our accounts (DH and I have CFF, CFU, CSP and CSR)? I wouldn’t actually give him a card or let him charge to the account , but would being an AU help him build a credit history and be helpful down the line? Or not really?
My DD is 15 and has been on my cards since she was 13 I think. If my card allows an AU, she has a card for it. I keep them stored for her, but do give them to her when she's traveling. Now that she is about to be driving, I will make sure she has whatever card I'm trying to charge gas on, LOL

Yes. Making them an AU is good for their credit. I put all 3 of mine on our oldest card. I did give it to them too, I like knowing they have it in case of emergency.
Is there a way for authorized users to see their credit scores, as many of the cards now provide this benefit? I’d like to do add my 20 year old as an AU, as I believe she has no credit history, but I worry she may have something on her credit (that I don’t know about) which would negatively affect my credit somehow if I add her as an AU.
So I took the leap and applied for the AMEX platicorn offer (125K SUB w/10x grocery & gas) on Sunday which was the last day of my targeted offer before it expired. Today, I got a fancy package in the mail and y'all didn't tell me I'd ALSO get a unicorn kind of credit card! That thing is heavy! I have no idea where to start or what to look for with these offers you keep referring to, but I'm already feeling kinda fancy ☺
I really wish I could find a reason to change my Delta flight LOL
You may have called us in the past to adjust your travel plans. Because we know plans can change, we now have an easier way for you to take control of your travel. If you need to change your flight, you can quickly make changes at delta.com or with the Fly Delta App. Then, as a one-time offer, we’ll gift you 2,500 bonus miles. Rest assured, the value of your ticket will not be lost. Offer ends June 30, 2021.

Might you have done at least 10 transactions? I think 10 was where the bonuses started.
Yes, I got it in an email this morning. Dh did not get one though for his Delta acct. But I guess he hasn't booked anything in forever either.Did this come via email? I have a Delta flight that I got with my AmEx credit with every intention of changing and if I can get some bonus miles out of it even better. I don't always open every email from Delta so I may need to go through my deleted folder.
I told her that, first of all, no, I'm not rich, Second of all, even if I was rich, that wouldn't mean that she was.

Yes, make him an AU. It helps. We got DD a couple of AU cards when she was a teen, and let her carry them and use them sparingly when needed.
Same - my kids have been AU's on my card since they were like 14 or 15.
Speaking of said 13yo- you all have me thinking again with the AU conversations. We have the Disney Visa that (thanks to all that I've learned here) no longer gets regular use. I know it's not a great card, but I love having Elsa in my wallet and I do enjoy having the D
I'm thinking that this would be a great card for her to have as her first AU. Can I request it for her through SM or do I need to call? Will she get her own card in her own name?
Congrats on your DHs approvalInstant approval for DH for CIC. Wish I could figure Chase out. DH has had more recent inquiries, more new cards, slightly lower credit score, we used the same business structure. He got instant approval and I was denied. Still haven’t gotten around to calling recon on mine, but I do plan to.
If you figure them out let me know. How many chase business cards did you each have before applying?Instant approval for DH for CIC. Wish I could figure Chase out. DS is AU on my CF. He is just starting out and has a score in the 800s. Also he has the card to use when he picks something up for me. He uses Credit Karma to check his credit.I opened them a Credit Karma account (with their permission). Both kids have scores over 800 due to being an AU on some of my cards and they also go their own cards when they turned 18 just to establish their own credit too.
