Hhn 19 website has been updated!!

Yikes, EP's are expensive. :scared1: You don't think we'll need one for opening night do you?

Oh and BTW.........for anyone looking for HHN Coke cans, I read on a posting on the HHN Facebook that the cans don't come out until tomorrow. :confused3

If no one noticed, they updated the sight again. You can click on The Spawning, Horrowood Drive-In and the Chucky tickets now (in the attraction section). There's a video for Spawning, but it wasn't playing last I was on there. Let me know if its still not and I'll get a link to a site that somehow got it off the website and will play it.

I would wait...I'm hoping there will be TM's selling the discounted EP's like last year. I don't know for sure though.

I forgot there were the two different costs for EPs for this year ...

... RIP tours will never have to wait in line ... and yes they have gotten more popular over the past few years - that's why they changed the non-private tours to 4 hours with different start times.

Gotta love those RIP tours, especially the private ones! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the map! :thumbsup2

We have never done the HHN before, this year will our 1st time (going Thurs Oct 1st). We bought one of those Ticketmaster tickets for Universal Studios and were told we could upgrade them to the stay and scream pass but had to do it at the theme park. What are the chances it sells out before we get there or does it rarely sell out especially since we are doing it on a Thursday?

If I remember last year's reports correctly, HHN wasn't crowded prior to Columbus Day weekend.

Not sure if it was mentioned elsewhere but they brought back the Unmasking the Horror tour this year. (After having it missing from last year). It's where you get to tour a few of the houses in the daytime with lights on to check out the details, take photos, and talk to some of the folks involved.

Get an inside look at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights® as a Universal Orlando® R.I.P. Guide takes you behind the screams, showing you the inner workings of several of this year’s main attractions. Along the way, we will share the ghoulish secrets and haunted history of Halloween Horror Nights® and how it has become one of the most anticipated Halloween events in the world.

Unmasking the Horror Tour ($40.00 per person, tax included):

* Two hours in length. (departs at 10am and 1:30pm daily from Sept. 25th through Oct. 31st on Halloween Horror Nights® event dates only)
* Overview of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights®
* Overview of the history of Halloween Horror Nights®
* “Lights on” behind the scenes tour of select haunted houses with opportunities to take pictures/video throughout
* Free 2009 Halloween Horror Nights® commemorative lanyard (limited to one per tour ticket)

Where did you find this info? I can't see it on the official site....

I can't find the UTH tour info. either and have not received notification that it has returned either.

It was via Email. I called up the VIP Tour office and verified this too. I'm not sure why it isn't on the site yet.

I'm sure some might feel otherwise but I wish they would either add, extend or at least spread out the scare zones. Everything is shoved towards the front of the park, it's virtually empty towards the back (at least according to this map and the one from last year).

Last year I felt myself loosing the vibe towards the middle of our time being there which happened to be around the non scare zones.

Hopefully, they'll have the zombie team by MIB like last year.

I don't know...I'm getting kinda tired of the zombies every year. The houses (Deadtropolis) was good in 2004 but the zombies last year in the scarezones were almost laughable to me. I hope they are better this year.

I don't believe it's posted on the website yet, but some people were lucky enough to receive an email advising the UTH tour is available for booking.
Well I'm very grateful for the posting on here, I've gone ahead and booked. We've only been to HHN once in 2007, and got the bug, it was one of the highlights of our holiday, so a must-do this time. It'll be great to have an inside peek and get some photos of the houses! In previous years, how many houses have you got to see on the UTM tour?

Also, is there a version of the map anywhere that is big enough to read the font below each attraction, it may just be my rubbish eyesight, but even on the enlarged version I can't read it?!!

Here ya go all!!!! Get to booking!

Oh don't say that, Zombies are my favorite and I'm looking forward to them. If they were laughable last year, than I too hope they are better. :rolleyes1

Good point.

Seeing that The Spawn is nearby, maybe having some of the CHUD monsters roaming about would be cool.

When we did the tour two years ago we went through three houses....Nightmare On Elm Street, Dead Silence and Psychoscarepy. It was AWESOME! We got some of the coolest pictures ever. I have a great shot of me standing under the Elm St. sign in front of the house. We have already booked our tour for this year. Can't wait. Definitely worth the $40!!

::yes:: Usually it's three houses.

It's so neat to see how much detail they actually put into the houses - you get to see things you'd never notice in the conga line at night :thumbsup2

Wife and I did the same one and we were SO sad that they didn't do it last year. It's one of those tours that you will go every year if you go once. Getting to take pictures and videos in the houses you go through is worth the price alone. I think we took like a 160 pics two years ago and this year we plan on taking more:cool1:

This is a not miss tour if you really enjoy HHN and would like to see a hint at how this all comes together. Plus the tour guide will answer any questions that you have and really make it a special thing that you won't forget.
