what number did you call? Chase visa on the back of card?
Called Chase Disney Rewards to ask a few questions about my new Disney Visa. Asked customer representative (who said she was new) if she knew of any promotions set to come out. She told me free dining for 8/31-10/3 is being released tomorrow and gave me a five digit code for it. Of course, I called Disney and they said the code was not valid today. No indication that I should try later but I believe I might just call again in the morning, lol.
I don't think anyone should change their current reservations or book anything until the offer is officially announced by Disney. No need to cut off your nose to spite your face.
For us serious Disney planners I know this is throwing off our game a bit but relax....all will be fine in the end.
I heard through the rest of the year?!? Why only til October 3rd?
Chase and all the idiots that work for them are the master of knowing nothing to be honest they could be looking at last year or before. I wouldn't trust any of them with any information ......might as well call your local disney bus driverCintijen said:Called Chase Disney Rewards to ask a few questions about my new Disney Visa. Just called chase and she gave me two different codes for free dining. There is one for values and one for mod/deluxe. She mentioned the offer would be going to the public 5/7.

My dates are sept. 19-27 CSR had no availability for 2 adults 2 children. Sorry
turning into a Disney fanatic
Did you get any info about what date ranges are included? Thanks
She said that in her career (over 30 yrs) once they announce which resorts are not included in FD, she has never seen them retract and open it back up.

No, but we walked over from POP last year and were VERY impressed with their food court and my DS was in heaven from being able to hug all his Cars buddies.
The free dining was expected to come out say (for arguments sake) in 4 weeks. I booked the vacation.....my husband said we've been to disney every year since 2006 staying deluxe and had free dining, called and said he would go to the other park if he didn't get free dining, long story short.....we were given free dining before any promo came out for Oct last year. So when someone says a cm can't override, I call none sense, they can, they have, they will.
Did you think this was okay for your husband to do? Demand special treatment? I would have been mortified.
I am not sure where I stand on this. For us the truth is that if we can't get POR with FD for our family of 5 we are not going this year, we will go to a Wisconsin Dells indoor water park instead (It is a stretch financially already but would be possible with free dining). If I let the CM know this, is that demanding special treatment? I think its a little like buying a house, negotiate an offer I can afford or I will look elsewhere not necessarily a threat.
