Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Good morning. Today we check out of CR and head to Port Orleans. I like the tranquility of POR so we decided to do that last. We arrived Thursday to check into our standard view Atrium Club level but to my surprise we were escorted to the 14th floor. As we checked in even the cast member gave a surprised look while looking at our reservation. Kathy from the club level was there to greet us. Her and Maureen informed us that we were upgraded to not only a suite but the Presidential Suite. I cried. Lol. The room was huge. Club level rocked. I set the bar high for my kids to have that experience but then Disney hit me with that extra dose of pixie dust. My first club level experience was amazing from start to finish.

The time i want isn’t available, but the ride is - do you think if i took that fast pass anyway, it could maybe be modified? I’ve been trying, but it’s not working.

But it is a good idea to take the wrong time and try to modify it yourself. Keep trying. persistence sometimes pays off!

What ride? My motto is “modify, modify, modify” when it comes to FPs. It’s often amazing how much you can move things around with just a little bit of elbow grease.

But yeah, as the others have posted DSS and CL CMs aren’t going to be much help changing FPs.

I hope you didn’t miss the best part of the game!! They made up that 17-point deficit, then it took double overtime but they did it! GO DAWGS!!!

So I’m a BAD FAN. Me and DS took off for the MK at halftime and I totally missed the second half and OTs.

Bad thing is I guess I missed the best game of all time. Good thing is MK on a 44 degree extremely windy night is AMAZING. No crowds, most rides were walk ons, walked up to HEA with 4 minutes to go and could have done cartwheels in the hub. We literally put on every piece of clothing we brought, but it was great!

I feel bad missing the game but we ended up with some great - and unexpected - quality MK time.

But yes, go Dawgs!

I’ll keep trying to modify. I took that one (vs Navi) - the only time available was 4pm & now they’re all gone. I have a backup plan to use a Minnie Van to get to AK for 6:30a for EMH. (My oldest son graduates this year, so I want to make this trip really memorable and special for him. I’ll be there in Feb with the rest of the family & we have a FP then, too - but it’s a time we can work with.)
Luckily, I just read that we have an extra hour to spend in the park - after Jan 11, DME will be picking up 3 hours before flights again.

Thanks again! Glad your dawgs won AND you got to experience some awesome (albeit chilly) family time with your sweet boy!

Lol, ok, well my modify advice applies to most everything, except that ride!

FWIW, I at first had to make a FOP FP for late on this current trip. I was eventually able to move it to the morning, but I think I got lucky when Disney added some FPs later on (I just happened to be reading a post about it on TPAS right when this happened).

@anomamatt, did you get slippers with your CL stay at Poly? It was posted they did at other CL resorts so wanted to check. Thanks!!

Sorry I didn’t answer sooner. The end of our vacation was nuts. At MCO now. Anyhow, no slippers in our room. 2 robes.

Can’t believe we never ran into you guys! I’m on the plane now too.

Same with our room.... robes, no slippers. I don’t really remember slippers in my prior Poly CL stays, but might not have ever noticed.

Yeah, we were not around the lounge much the past few days. Spent some time in urgent care with my youngest getting stitches. And then the next day she puked all over at the soarin merge (a mix of nervous and excited, she is finally 40” but we didnt ride obvious soy). The last few days were crazy. Still was an awesome trip.

We ended up not being around the lounge much either. NYE was a bit of a zoo and I wasn’t loving the offerings all that much. With the colder weather and only one tolerable pool day, we ended up spending more park time than CL/resort time this trip.

I did go back and check April and May and it is all available now, so this was not a case of just a room opening up because of a cancellation. Something odd was going on, they probably were thinking of doing a renovation of some sort in the rooms but changed the schedule.

When we went to Poly in September we got both robes and slippers (we didnt use either though - i prefer to walk around in my socks or barefoot). When we stayed at CR CL same thing - robes and slippers.

Thanks! Hopefully they have them this summer. I only walk around in socks and always plan to bring my slippers but don't. They would come in handy for me. I get creeped out by the carpet!

I lost/cancelled our first booked FOP FP+'s due to delayed/cancelled/missed flights and was very sad. However, by refreshing I was able to get FOP FP+ on the day that we were in the AK. AND it was only 50 minutes away! So, if you keep trying, you may get lucky.

I lost/cancelled our first booked FOP FP+'s due to delayed/cancelled/missed flights and was very sad. However, by refreshing I was able to get FOP FP+ on the day that we were in the AK. AND it was only 50 minutes away! So, if you keep trying, you may get lucky.

Hi gang!!

Don’t know if those currently planning and chatting will remember, but a month or so ago I asked for input from those who had DSS make their trip FP, and as pointed out this group is mainly those, like me!, who enjoy planning and so get their FP on their own when the system opens rather than wait for DSS to arrive at 9 am

I was fortunate to be on a 21st bday celebration trip in Las Vegas when our FP date hit, and had a helicopter tour scheduled for that morning. With the time difference, plans, etc...well i decided to roll the dice and let DSS handle our FP for our upcoming 2/25 - 3/3 trip. I emailed and asked their protocol and was assured that there was a CM assigned each day to FP duties and got on it first thing when their day started. They advised me to either call or email my requests anytime, but no later than 3 days prior to my window opening date. So I sent a very lengthy, detail email...lol...which included some screenshots from touringplans.com and some days just listed out.

The morning off, i happened to be on the shuttle and checked just after 9 am EST and was concerned as nothing was showing. I didn’t want to start making them on my own bc I knew i wouldn’t have time to finish, and I didn’t want to undermine my asking them to do them in the first place. So i went on my day and put it out of mind

After the tour I realized I had a vm from DSS, around 9:30 EST and it said they were successful in getting all the FP that I wanted, and overall near the times that I had requested.

Honestly, I didn’t have time to look at it again until several days later....gasp! I was very very pleased with what FP were showing on MDE. Overall, they got all the rides that I wanted, and really very close if not spot on to the times. This included Frozen and FOP

We are a party of two, except the last day our children join and we are at MK on a Saturday with a party of 5

I’m sure going at a more slower time helped my cause

So i just wanted to share my experience with letting go!!! LOL
