Thanks for all the congrats for Nicholas. I'm very proud of him. He did essentially all of his project himself, with VERY little help from me.

Beth - I liked Deb's phrase of "bureaucratic brilliance." I'll have to remember that one. Good luck.

I also found out that Alyssa's is student of the month for February. February's theme is "respect".

Sorry I have been MIA--its been crazy at work! A couple of teachers and I are on a committee and needed to work on a plan --we worked ALL day today and it ended up being 20 pages..Im exhausted! We treated ourselves with a movie! Now i am home and catching up!

It's been a rough day for me today. I nearly passed out this morning, I made it to the couch as the room shrunk to black. I have no idea why, but needless to say it was a bit unsettling. After the blackout I was super hot then had dry heaves. I've been shakey the rest of the day. I did work tonight and I was buys, somehow I made it through. I haven't been taking an vitamins so maybe that's off :confused3

I did start taking them tonight in hopes that it will make a difference.

Today was myBob's 60th birthday. I got home from work about 9:00 and he was already asleep. We lead such an exciting life!

I will be gone tomorrow from 9 a.m. until about dinner time. Guess what he wants me to bring home for his celebratory dinner......

My DGD is cheering in AC. Well it appears the hotel the team is required to stay in is a sty. OMG the things my DGD said are cracking me up. She said ..I don't do motels/ this place smells/ no valet!!! She complained that they priced the snacks with a sharpie! The coffee pot is beside the toliet, there are no closets and the tub is peeling. A real dump. My DD said the bed was hard and she couldn't remove her shoes. I laughed so hard I almost pi$$ed my pants.

I am so glad DGS and I are headed to AKL with a closet, valet, fluffy towels, 400 thread count sheets, and a carpet that has been recently cleaned. :goodvibes

My DD said they were down the street from the $399 divorce center and a liquor store. She may need to make a visit to the store before this is all over. :lmao:

Thank you for all the get well wishes for Alyssa. She got over the vomiting in about 12 hours and (knock on wood) no one else got the stomach bug, but I can't help but fear it's just festering!

All three kids are hacking again though, with lots of nasal drainage. Blech!

Busy, busy weekend. Alyssa had ballet and a Daisy Scout outing last night, so the boys got to hang out together. This morning is the annual Kiwanis pancake breakfast and Alyssa and Kevin are going to the Daddy-Daughter Dance tonight. Tomorrow is church and church spring musical rehearsal. In between all that, I'm still trying to get on top of my "things to do before Sammy gets here" list.
