Thank you again for using Alamo.com to modify your reservation.

$204 for 12 days in a premium car! I thought that was an awesome deal compared to what I was seeing in the months previously! I couldn't use Priceline or Hotwire 'cause I only have a debit card and some of the companies do not accept them. I owe it all to the people who posted on that thread. We never had a premium car before and we got a new FORD TAURUS that I wanted to steal and bring home! I miss that car. It was so awesome!

Anyway~

I've been researching for next April 10-23 with Disney Cruise 13-20. Round Trip Car Rentals are typically awful ($600-$800) right now so I have been looking at one-ways from the Airport to Cape Canaveral and I came across a deal today:

Alamo one-way from MCO to COiC76 -airport to port Convertibles are cheaper than Economy's right now. Renting April 10 to April 13 and using BJ's code and Entertainment Book $25 Coupon, I have $187.70 total.

Not great! But good for a one-way preliminary back-up reservation with no Port parking fees! :drive:

I plan to start searching soon too. Last Easter week we got our mini van through Budget for $269.85 total. We usually pay around $200 but couldn't get it lower for a 7 day rental. We prefer either a SUV or mini van so we are limited on selection.

I think the only car rental coupons valid until June 2013 are Entertainment Book's online website coupons.

I bought an Entertainment Book key chain card on ebay for $1.50 and logged into the website.

Seems to me these coupons are good now, but more towards the actual vacation the warehouse clubs like BJ's and Costco get better coupons. BJ's in particular usually has $40 off coupon for more than 10 days. Although their website does not have it now.

I still can't get an Alamo long term round-trip Airport rental for under $600 right now.

Pershing, what is the entertainment book key chain? I am looing for rates for April 10-20 2013, rightnow they are really high. Compact or mid-size. this year we paid 340.00 with National for a full size, that that was still a lot.

This is what I have right now using the Flying Blue/air France Klm code with National car rental that's been passed around the board for the past 7 months.
Good luck all,
Joe

I'm in too!
I've got Alamo right now for $212 for 3/29/13 - 4/5/13 Pickup at TPA and drop off at MCO using entertainment book 1 day free coupon.

Well, I might be screwed, I need a mini van from 4/10-4/21. I got a pretty cheap rate last trip ($300ish), hoping for under $500 :rolleyes1

Just search for "Entertainment Book Membership Card" on ebay and you'll see a picture of a card with key chain mini card attached at the end. It saves you from buying a complete Entertainment Book yet gives you access to their website by registering that card-and access to their rental car discounts.

We are so close to 2013, if you are planning on ebaying a card, you might want to wait. Although Entertainment Book Car Rental Discounts are good to June 2013 right now, where all the other coupon codes end 12/31/12.

Alamo's Entertainment Book Codes contract ID 7015840 thru June '13 are:

AD7483SDC $15 off -3 day w/Saturday
AF4917AAM One Free Day- 5 day w/Saturday
AU4234FDD Two Class Upgrade compact thru midsize
AD5859JDP $25 off 3 day Convertible and above
AD2379FDW $50 off 21 day rental
AD4078JDU $10 2 day Saturday day keep
AD9874AAV $20 4 day Saturday keep

They are good to play around with at this time of the year, but we always see better closer to the mark!

This site really helped me get a great rate last April! Hoping for the same this year for the last week in April.

I'm in too - looking for a Convertible from March 29-April 5 to be picked up and dropped off at MCO :)

Just updating to say that Budget's round trip rentals are starting to drop from the very high to just high around 300's.

If you are a USAA member, your y126501 code will gain you a good back up rental with Budget with some classes like SUV's cheaper than economy. Remember to bring your card though word is MCO Budget has been asking for it lately.

Otherwise, one ways on Alamo are still decent enough if you are doing a cruise and don't want to pay for parking.

Subbing!!!
I agree that this thread was an extreme help last April! Hoping to get another great deal. I paid less than $300 for a mini van last time. Thank goodness we won't need a mini van next yr.

Not finding much myself. Got one last year for $127 for more days. Hoping for something to pop up soon!
