Name your pizza

A Paparoni from Papa Gino's. They closed all their restaurants in my area a few years back and I miss the salty grease so much.

I miss it terribly ... I lived in Evanston for 10 years (went to Dawes Elementary and Chute Middle Schools) - was moved to Elgin (by parents) before going to ETHS, and moved myself back to Evanston when in my 20s ...
I was born at St. Francis Hospital, on Ridge, grew up in Skokie (near Lou Malnati's Lincolnwood). Loyola Academy here, class of '83. Small world, right?

Mark and Monica's, Carmichael, California. Anything on the menu, it's all good

Yes it is, when I moved back to Evanston in my 20s, I lived right off of Ridge on Washington St (6-7 blocks north of St. Francis) - my mother lived off of Ridge on Brummel - which was right by that hospital. Very small world indeed.

I'm always confused when people get so territorial about pizza, like there's any comparison between and among different styles. The truth for me is that I love all kinds, and there are lousy and extraordinary examples of each kind. I don't have a favorite kind, but I have favorites in each category.

Truth

Grade school, St Mary of the Woods, Edgebrook. Lived a block away. Just buried my brother from there last Friday.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible.

We went to Fairview for grade school. My parents liked that school better than Queens.
