This may only be news to me, but the home of the Citrus Swirl, Sunshine Tree Terrace, has not had the iconic snack/treat for a while now.

I think part of it is they don't want to go back to all the crazy deep discounts of 2008-2010/12 where they had so many trained to only book with the deep discount and to wait for it, they went a bit to far that way then, but now they are going to far the other way. They need to be in middle and probably move to a more best deal is booking far out with more restrictions on cancellation for the deal hunters.
But that's when I first started going, and how I got hooked... and now go 2-3 times a year. Deep discounts get new customers for life.

Agreed. IMO it looks good on them. When other parks across the country are back to putting on their full Halloween events and Disney doesn't it says a lot. One thing that disappointed me is the the lackluster 50th. Look at Cedar Point, they just had their 150th and they went all out. Had a night time parade, had special food, merchandise and a museum set up to look back at the last 150 years. Disney's answer is well some merch and cupcakes. IMO they need to stop using Covid as an excuse.

I was disappointed that they didn’t have an amazing fireworks display for the 50th. They have done nicer ones for the Christmas/ Halloween parties and 4th of July where they have multiple pads launching fireworks 180 degrees around Main Street and the castle. We were surprised at the lack of crowds this past weekend. We ended the night at HS on the 2nd and we walked on most rides and was in the first briefing room on Rise after only waiting 20 minutes at 7pm. The lines were longer for 50th merchandise which we weren’t interested in. We just bought APs so it will be interesting to see how the stand by lines are once G+ & LL launch as right now they aren’t worth it to purchase and we won’t purchase it even if it was crowded. I think until international travel picks up it will continue to be lighter crowds at the park.

me too. the fireworks were... ok. the rest of the show was... less ok. I kinda expected "WOW", and we got, meh. :confused3 it's the 50th birthday of WDW. why wasn't it the biggest, most hugest thing EVER at WDW? :(

on a side note, the lights on Spaceship Earth were just epic. :teeth: more of that please!

I just watched Enchantment. It’s not that bad. I was expecting worse from what I read. Harmonious is worse IMO. So no tinker Bell? Did we already know that?

I watched the video for enchantment and felt it was fine and I remember when HEA started it got bashed too with tons of bring Back wishes posts.
That's what I remember too. So many people hating on HEA. I'm going to wait and see on Enchantment for that reason.

Is tomorrow night the first night for extended evening hours for Deluxe guests at MK? From 9-11pm or have we already had one??

Just wondering about the crowd levels and ride wait times..

Last night was first night of extended hours at EPCOT. Rides were 20 minutes or less the entire 2 Hours. Nothing in the France Expansion was open including La Creperie.

ETA: First Night of Extended Evening Park Hours in Disney World

Just an FYI if your link gets edited like that it's because the website is banned on the DisBoards.

That shop is Discovery Trading Co. in Animal Kingdom by the way.
Yeah, I realized that's why my link was ***'d out...

and dang it - we're not going to AK in November and I'm sure there won't be any around in March...
