speaking of O/T subjects..... my Mom has been driving our whole family CRAZY with her unbelievably long and loud text ringtone.... it's Moana's "How Far I'll Go"....and EVERY text is like 1/2 the song...... I thought I loved Moana music until our June trip together,and she refuses to silence it...keep in mind, this is for the approximately 1 million texts she gets in a day, not phone calls!

Depending on what airline you're flying you may do better to transfer those URs to the airline and book award flights. Using MR, I'm getting my family of 4 to WDW for 68,000 points.
I'm not a fan of cashing out convertible points, they have other uses that are more lucrative to me, but completely understand those that want to.
Which value resort are you staying at? If the only thing you hated last trip were the buses, you could stay at either Art of Animation or Pop Century, then you get the Skyliner to two of the parks.
If you have a Chase branch near you, open one of their checking accounts for the bonus and get the Disney Debit card. All the same discounts at the shops, online and the "exclusive" meet and greet areas.

The airline is Jetblue. It might be the same number of points as you, but they haven't release the fairs for the dates im going yet. I compared the chase travel site versus jetblue site and its the same number of points. So going through chase gives me the miles rewards on jetblue. Going through jetblue won't generate any miles rewards for the trip.
I had no idea about this skyliner, let me look it up. How long is the wait? How long is the trip to animal kingdom and how long is the trip to magic kingdom? Do you have to get off and on for connections?

It can be hard here with 10% sales tax. Bought some of the cute holiday birds target has for mom and they are all $5 so with the tax and the even number of birds I ended up with .00 for my total. Used cip so didn't care but it's something to keep in mind here anyway.

Yup, 5% here. So I bought a $2 drink with .05 tax and bam... $508 even lol.

So this morning my good cholesterol reading was so low it didn't even register. And the nurse told me about how you can't really do anything to raise your good cholesterol level, you're just born with it.

That nurse is spreading fake news lol! You can raise your good cholesterol. It involves the usual suspects - exercise, lose weight, eat good fats ( like avocado, olive oil, nuts, etc).

I just closed my JB biz a little over a week ago. Also received confirmation from them. Not sure if I'll ever apply for any Barclay biz card again based on the stories I've read about them.

Yeah also not sure I'd do a Biz again. But if they did something like the Arrival+ again I'd probably want in on that. I'm hoping after a year cool off they put out a good offer again (conveniently when I have cards falling off, hehe. 5/24 is hard when you're in 1.5 player mode. Don't know how single players do it!)

Okay color me stupid....when you are getting extra serve cards, are you doing them as sub account cards under your existing account? Or are you creating different accounts completely for each card?

Completely different login for each new card, although you can use the same email.

Dh actually doesn’t have a serve card. I went ahead and should have 2-3 more coming my way just in case but I probably won’t activate them yet. My cashier just looked like she was done for the day. She was very unfriendly and not helpful. She assumed I was trying to use my serve to load money onto my visas lol. She had issues with the lady in front of me so I think that also put her in a bad mood.

What @speedyfishy is trying to say is that when you are asking to use different, multiple VCG to load to the same Serve card they are going to think (correctly) that you are using a VCG to load. Otherwise there is no reason to do it separately. Walmart is very aware of using VCG to load and most cashiers are aware of it. You just don't want to burn this location when you are just getting started.

This makes more sense! I was thinking, I've never heard that before... At least my blood pressure/glucose/total cholesterol were all in a good range. It just seems strange to say my good cholesterol went from 50-60 range over the last few years with 50+ being 'good' for females and then today she got <15.

She also told me that I look like someone who exercises a lot. Um, no... lol

We won't be there in 2021. At least I don't think so, it is a long way off. Our next large trips are all scheduled over kids' 13th birthdays. The next two are Nov 2020 and 2022.

I’m over 5/24 but player 2 is barely in the game other than a csr. We have huge for us spending in the next month. What card would be the best choice if we know we will have 15k+ spend. We almost never spend like this but we have a medical bill and a wedding to pay for so this is our one chance at a high minimum spend. What should we go for? Any cards with good bonuses for high spends right now?

Since I have no use for them (since I changed my plans for Japan), I guess I'll have to see if they'll get me anywhere for free. It's only 74K and I have no idea how far that will take me... literally!

That could be 3 rt trip domestic or 1 rt to Europe in coach. It's not hard to find domestic flights for 12.5k. I've seen web specials start at 6k.

I love the vanilla ones. Target sometimes sells bags of vanilla alone. So good!

I used to like the vanilla ones more when I was little but now don’t like them as much. I like the pack of fruity tootsie rolls though.

Would love to go May 2021 right when kids are done with school (out early May). Have never been at this time and hoping not as hot or rainy. But not sure if the 50th Anniversary stuff will be going at that time or start in October...

DANG IT! Well apparently I don't want to load my serve on the first of the month. I loaded it yesterday. Logged into today to move the money and I was hit w/ the fee! What the heck! Well there's a $6.95 loss! Grrrrrr.

Does anyone know, can 14yos have a serve? I don't have a P2 so I was thinking of getting myself another card (or 2) for myself and then her a card if I can. And you can have 2 in play under your name? Since GrAAvy is drying up, and Barclay hates me and won't give me a Biz card, I've got to generate my AA miles somehow until I can do the Citi Personal, LOL.

Well I guess this is a GREAT point. When do we think the 50th anniversary stuff will begin. I just assumed Jan 1, 2021. Maybe that was the wrong assumption. What does the hive mind think?
