Just got a good deal for a luxury car through Costco with Alamo for a week rental!
Thank you I will check on this. I did call our local Hertz to ask them if I could leave my car there and mentioned we would be taking a trip to FL. He didn't mention anything about restrictions, but I will read the fine print!Make sure you are allowed to drive it to Florida. Any car I have ever rented the contract only allows you to drive in states that border the state rented in.
That's great. I just checked and our reservation jumped nearly $50.00 for the week after Easter. Our price dropped by $10 with Alamo for 4/12-4/21. Not much but any price drop is a help.
NeverDo you need to show an actual coupon for the Alamo $25 off coupon code? Our 11day rental in May works with this code, got a full size for $363.
Never
AD3868JST $25 off speciality
AD2823JAZ $25
This advice applies to any time you want to book a rental car. Use Autoslash.com to price out your options. It will direct you to Priceline to book your car, then when you get to the price breakdown, you will open enough drop-down menus to expose the promo codes Priceline is using. Then check and see if you can beat the price by booking directly through the rental car company's site. If you get a better or same rate directly, you should always choose that over Priceline. That way you can use Hertz Gold, or National's Emerald, etc, etc and skip the lines and hopefully get an upgrade. The best part is, after you book, enter that booking information back into Autoslash, which will continue searching for better deals for you, emailing you whenever it finds one.

When I go through the initial process at autoslash to search for a rental, I get a request for my name and email address and it states the quote will be emailed to me.
ETA: I clicked on the "Coupons" on top of the page and was directed to Priceline after searching and selecting coupons for my dates.
Yeah, I am not seeing any codes.Yes, they will email you the rates they find. If you click on one of them it will bring you to the booking page with the codes they used
Once you get the email, follow the link. It will open a list of Priceline rentals, click one of them, and it will open a new page. Then choose the rental you want, and click "Book It". Once the site builds your reservation scroll down to where it says "Rewards Points and Discounts (optional)"Yeah, I am not seeing any codes.
So you have to actually book the reservation to see it.Once you get the email, follow the link. It will open a list of Priceline rentals, click one of them, and it will open a new page. Inside that is where the codes are.
HelpfulYeah, I'm gonna let you figure that out on your own
