"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

I was told two completely different things by different cast members on the phone. I am going to Epcot in the morning until about 1pm and then going home to rest with the kids. We are planning to be back at the party at 4. I have made fast passes for Epcot for the morning. Can I get fast passes for 4-7pm at MK since the party ticket is a different ticket? If so, please walk me through how to do it? Since one cast member told me I could, I went on to try, and it kept saying I could not do any more because each person in the party already had fast passes. Thanks!

I would think you could make additional FPs after you have used them at Epcot, assuming something is still available - just as with any other day.

My understanding is that the limit for the FP is actually up to 6:30pm and not 7. To answer your question, you can only get the extra FP on the party ticket if the party ticket is assigned to what is called a 'phantom' profile on your MDE, and not your main profile.

You can only do 3 fp per day until you use them or they expire. I originally had set up my fp for the Xmas party day for the park we would be at in the am but decided to switch it to mk in the afternoon starting around 4. I remember last year by the time I used my first 3 there wasn't anything left for the 4-7 timeframe. If you plan on getting to Epcot early on the party day you might want to try and switch ur fp to the afternoon at mk. Good luck

We are thinking about going to this party on 12/15. I am expecting it to be crowded but I am confused about the schedule.

According to the Disney website A Frozen Holiday Wish is at 8:15 with the parade at 8:30 and then the fireworks at 10.

If we want to go to the first parade how early to you have to get there to get a spot on Main Street? If we opt for the second parade how early do you need to get Main Street for the fireworks?

The timing of everything feels awkward.

Thank you for asking this! I am going on 12/6 and I was wondering the same thing.

I'm inclined to think these time are not finalized as a lot of things don't seem to line up. It's making planning very difficult!

Does anyone know? I can't find an answer at all.

Last year I bought one of those shirts nearly at the end of the party at Emporium, was around 11.30p.m. and they still had them in stock, various sizes. They just grabbed it from the back somewhere (but only after having checked my AP and photo ID :-) - they were rather strict about it). So I would expect you should not have an issue with gettingt the shirt DH wants !

I hope so. I am glad it is not just me that is finding this difficult! Part of me feels that maybe Disney is doing it on purpose to spread out the crowds and force you to make choices.

For those that have attended in the past, how early do you need to get to Main Street if you want to the fireworks and then the second parade?

I don't see the first parade listed on 11/18 at all. I think you're right.

It's been my understanding all along that a party schedule is not really known before the first party. I don't think your experience is any different than most. I doubt they are trying to spread out the crowd. There aren't that many experiences available to do so. Just business as usual.

Was your party later in the season? That's my concern with ours being in December lol. And do you know if there is a limit to how many shirts you can buy? I wasn't sure if you can only buy one shirt per pass (I would like one too! haha). Thanks for your response! :)

Does the party always start in the first week of November? We are trying to plan our 2017 trip, and hope to catch it before we leave. :)

Sorry if this has already been posted much earlier, but... if I plan to attend the Dec. 4 MVMCP, when should I plan on purchasing tickets? I've heard it is smart to wait to check on weather etc. when the event draws closer, but I don't want tickets to sell out. Is it likely the Dec. 4 party would sell out? Thanks!

There is a chance since it's the first party and that week in general is predicted to be a little busy.
Thanks all. We are there Tuesday also, so made some adjustments and will plan to attend the 11/8 party. Just thought maybe other wine and diners might hang out to go Monday, but fewer might stay for Tuesday.

Only way to make this work would be to NOT link the Party tix to your MDE account. Since those tix would therefore not be linked to any length of stay on Disney property, you'd have to wait until 30 days before the party date in order to make FPs. You'd have to then use the paper tickets to gain entry to the park and use them for FPs at the party (not your magic band). Someone feel free to correct me if I'm off base.

There's really no way of knowing. If you know you want to go no matter what, then sooner is definitely better than later. If rain would keep you away, then waiting is better.

Thanks! Now I'm trying to figure out why they are advertising FP+ availability for the Christmas parade:
Complimentary FastPass+ Service Offered
As early as 30 days in advance, you can secure priority viewing for this parade with FastPass+ service. Read More
This is wrong, is it not?

This will be an interesting development if they do offer FP+ for during the party.
