September 5th 2016, 4 Night Dream Cruise

We visited Mom today, we leave for Ohio tomorrow. Mom and Belle today....the previous picture was taken two years ago!

We are traveling to Ohio today! We leave to Orlando from Columbus Ohio!

It's getting real for us now! I have the bags for the Candy Exchange, will be filling and addressing them this week, that's somehow more exciting than packing!

We have a ramp for Belle, but it's in Ohio, she never has had as much problem getting into Tom's car as she has had on this trip. From now on we will travel with the ramp.

Has anyone been keeping an eye on the tropics? There's a couple of unnamed disturbances around Africa, but nothing that should upset our trip. I heard DCL does a good job maneuvering around storms when possible anyway.

Sometimes I forget we have the CD, but we're listening to the Castaway Club CD, the one that begins with the Magic's horn! That gets you ready to board!

We got the CD about 3 months after our first DCL cruise, that was in November 2004, we celebrated Tom's 60th birthday by taking a DCL cruise!

Belle is an English bred Black lab. We rescued her when she was 7 1/2. She is now 12 1/2, and she is a gentle soul. She needed rescuing from a breeder.

Here she is visiting mom, who always asks about her. Mom is 96.

Belle looks like a sweet girl. I absolutely love animals so it makes it easy to dog sit for almost anyone since all the animals that I have met like me too. (except for cats of course lol) And good luck on your mother for being 96 years young and still going! I wish her another 10+ years of life and good ones too. my grandmother is 85 and looks and acts 65 lol and she is about to hit her 65th anniversary in November with my grandfather.

I never count the day I am going through currently so 13 days until the cruise and I am so excited!!!!!!!!! I have run out of questions for you guys to get you even more excited for this thing so how about pictures?? Not personally taken though.

No she is a hard working farm girl so we could never get her off the farm and onto a boat like that lol. The grandmother that we are taking is a little over 60 years young and she is a sweet woman.

I have never seen it personally so I am super excited to see the decor.
Fact: did you know that each tree has a name and our tree that we will get to know in a few weeks is called Grim! The others are Muckelbones (Fantasy) Bog (Wonder) and Reap (Magic).

Just opened the email from DCL, telling us that our cruise is near!

12 days!!!!!! Fact: Each Halloween tree is different on each boat. I can not find a picture of Grim but we can just wait and see what he looks like as a surprise!
