January 2015

It is Stay play and dine! We are checking in the Friday of MLK weekend and that was not blacked out, though not sure of exact dates. There was also a room only but I didn't inquire about that. We ended up saving about 17% ($882) on our package for 2 adults, 2 kids, standard dining plan (table service, not sure what its called these days) 9 nights and 8 days of park tickets at POR. I'm so excited :D

just got WL for 30% off, was surprised, that one usually has less of a discount. Good luck everyone! :thumbsup2

We receive 25% off POR for Jan 5-10. Now I need another reservation for the 3 & 4! They would not let me book those two nights and get the discount for the other nights.

So is the 5th the first date of the discount ? Was hoping to check in the night of the 4th. May do a split stay at a value for the 4th I guess but was counting on those extra dining credits. Hmmm

Is the S/P/D the DP for adults at the children's price? We have done that before and it was a good deal now that two of my kids are "adults" in Disney's eyes....

I have a Disney Visa, but don't see the discount announced anywhere??

My DD just forwarded the email she got from Disney Visa. It always shows up later than the information here on the boards. I called and asked. It was available, so I made a room only reservation.

I called and Movies is only offering preferred (RO) at $3 more than my current standard room rack rate.

Preferred is tempting but I think I'd really rather be on the end by Music, so I can go over there and try the new food court or catch the bus in the morning.

Not worth the $15 to upgrade unless I could make sure to get 101 Dalmations. Watch I'll stay with standard and probably end up in The Love Bug section. :rotfl:

My TA was able to apply the discount to our January ressie and saved us$1384.48 :cool1: SO PSYCHED!!

I called and added the stay, play and dine to our current reservation and upgraded to table service dining. It actually cost $550 LESS than my previous reservation with quick service dining!! Yahoo!

If I apply for the Visa today, would I get the discount?

Not worth it. I believe you need the credit card number anyways.

also this goes to the general public next week so if this is the only reason you want the card it is pointless.

If I apply for the Visa today, would I get the discount?

I read somewhere on the boards that someone called and was approved immediately and given a credit card number. It's worth a try! If you can get it, you have a better chance of getting what you want before it's released to the gp.

Has anyone staying at pofq gotten their discount, I'm booked there jan 30th-feb 7 and I'm having the sinking suspicion that it will be excluded from any deals
