Grossest Thing You've Seen at the Parks

I'm not about to read all 55 pages of this nasty grossness (at least not all at once) but I wanted to add to the grossness. It was Dec 2007 we were in line for BTMRR , the preteen boy infront of us kept picking at his wedgie, he was wearing sweatpants, he'd pick then call it quits for a few minutes then go back and pick some more, then he started digging, right hand up to GOd, this is no lie, he then stuck his hand down the back of his pants and dug for a bit more, but the grossest part that caused me to dry heave was....when he took his hand out of his pants...he smelled his finger then rubbed it on his shirt.

I just got back yesterday and can't stop thinking about this so I had to post it. My ds4 and dd2 were playing at the laughing place play area in frontierland near splash mountain. I was watching them play when I heard another parent say "he's digging in his diaper" so I looked over to see a child around 2yrs old with his diaper sticking out of the front of his pants and his hand way down inside. He took his hand out and it didn't quite look right. then I heard another parent yell "POOP ALERT!" I looked around and saw that the child in with his hands down his pants had a perfect poop hand print on the front of his pants and a puddle of diarrhea(sp?) about the size of an orange on the toddler slide :P I never saw so many parents grab their children so quickly in my life. It was so gross! I let a CM know but didn't stick around to see when it got cleaned up. I was so happy that another parent saw it and warned everyone around.

Well I guess unfortunately for me the grossest thing happened from my child! This past trip my 2 1/2 ds who is not potty trained was playing in the contemporary arcade. As soon as he ran to a corner I told my dh "we need to get him to a bathroom ASAP!" Of course like most men he told me to relax and just give the poor kid a second. Sure enough I hear "OH NO!!!" coming from the corner. Poor DS is crying in embarrassment as he has a "protein spill" puddle on the floor:sick:. DH NOW rushes him out to the bathroom as I guard the corner with my life and have to wait for the arcade manager to come back to inform him. To make things just a tad worse when I told the guy and flatly stated "this could be the most embarrassing moment of my life" he replies "Oh ma'am that is nothing, TRUST ME I have seen worse". YIKES.
Oh and I'm happy to report after one change of clothes, on janitor mopping, and a full bath back at our hotel room, DS was good to go. :thumbsup2

why the heck would you "bump" a 5-month old thread? :confused3 You were just at WDW this month. You could at least add a funny story from your last trip.

Moldy-oldy thread bumps. One of my major pet peeves.

ETA: I'm unsubscribing, so I don't have to have to see this on my UserCP.

The grossest thing I have ever seen doesn't compare to some of these, but it was still pretty gross to me. A young couple that was wearing "Just Married" buttons and they were in front of us waiting to ride Expedition Everest. The girl started taking off her acrilic nails and was hiding them in different places along the que. Why would someone do this? :confused3

That's just plain weird. Maybe She didn't want them ripped off on the ride? Haha x

My DD and I were at MK this past weekend and DD was walking just 2 steps in front of me, well we were passing a group of people and a tall man turned to sneeze and didn't cover his mouth:confused3 , well he sneezed on my DD and I could just see the large spray of spit mist come from his mouth. It went all over DDs side of her face, neck and shoulder he didn't even apologize. I was so mad , I looked at him and said the least you could say is excuse me when you sneeze on someone. I took all the sanitizer gel i had and started rubbing it on DD.

oh man that's just nasty.. and to be honest really rude on the guys part. You're right could have at least apologized or something. What was your DD's reaction? i can just see the reaction on my DD's face under the same circumstances.

Okay, I have one. We were at Blizzard beach last week just lounging and watching the kids from a chair toward the back of the area by the wave pool. I noticed a mom changing the diaper of her child about 2 yo. She takes the diaper off and then proceeds to walk with her child to the poll and ............ yep you guessed it......... rinsed her bottom.

I read a while back that a lot of people get sick from pool water but think it is something that they ate. Kids in diapers should NOT be allowed in the pool. A dirty diaper is nothing more than a tea bag!
(Most people think chlorine kills everything instantly, um, nope.)

Kid puking in front of me while I was working and couldn't move
Yup turned my stomach. Felt ill for a while.

Mother felt baf

I think I would have turned around and watched. Make them feel embarrassed. Maybe clapped at the end.......:rolleyes1

We were there about 3 weeks ago and saw a couple of strange things. One lady was plucking her eyebrows sitting on the stone wall in front of Everest. On another occassion we were eating and a man at the next table kept pulling tweezers out of his shirt pocket and tweezing stuff on his face--once his nose and another time his facial hair. I know I was giving him the weirdest look wondering what in the world was he doing?

That reminds me of some guy I see on the bus once in a while, (and thankfully not much more either) he takes out dental floss and FLOSSES HIS TEETH on the bus, I'm one for good oral hygiene, but EWWWWWWWWWWWW, at least he puts the used floss in his pocket after, but please, do that in the privacy of a bathroom or something!

I've got a few...fortunately only one was my own kid:-) DS has terrible reflux and so it is almost inevitable that at least once during every trip he will overindluge....this time the protien spill was after the Wishes dessert party all in his stroller. We changed his clothes and mopped it out the best we could, and washed everything once back at the resort. Poor little guy. It was gross for all those around I'm sure. Sorry about that.

Others:

At DHS, I was carrying my frozen lemonade (about half-full) when a teenage kid sneezed all over me and in my drink while walking past me, without covering his nose and/or mouth of course.

in line for Soarin, we were on the numbers about to board. I was in front of DH, so was facing back talking to him. All the sudden he grabbed me and pulled me away to the side. He had seen the guy in front of me picking his nose and then he dropped his hand to his side to "flick" his findings---toward my legs:sick:

Our waitress at Boatright's had her hair in two braids on the sides of her head. She was carrying a big tray of drinks and when she put it on one hand to serve some of the drinks, her braid dipped down into one of the other glasses.

Well, there you go! More grossness to enjoy;)

I would have had to ask the teen to replace my drink.

I think there are bigger concerns with the man "shaking a little too long". This is a place for children.

The most disgusting thing I ever saw was the children at the zero entry (changed) pools with no diapers on who are 2 years old.... you know they aren't potty trained :(

I've been looking for this thread, because I seriously saw the grossest thing ever last October.

You know those tubs they keep bottled drinks and fans in? The ones filled with ice that gets hands in it all day? Well early morning after a very busy F&W day and they are draining the melted ice water from the previous day to refill the tub. Water had been sitting stagnant over night. It was filthy.

There's a spigot at the bottom on the tub that they twist on, letting the dirty water onto the ground. Obviously, that ice/water is not intended to be safe for human consumption. I doubt the tubs get even sanitized after each use.

Anyway, some people let their toddler baby (about 2), kneel down on the ground, put his mouth ON the spigot and drink the drain water.

Seriously.
