just tell them at check in. I can suggest get down the morning of free dinning to recheck in VERY EARLY!!!!. In August 2007 the line at POR ended up being 3 hours long. Anyone familiar with the resort it went out the door and down the hallway toward the food court.

Thank you! I don't like the prospect of checking in twice! We're staying the extra night to get a head start on Free Dining the next day!

We got very lucky, on the advice of someone at DIS we decided to apply for a Disney VISA card for our trip. It came 3 days before Free Dining was announced!

This thread is not quite as lively as it used to be (understandably so)....does anyone know of some fun threads, they would recommend?

Things should pick up (at least for a little while) here Monday morning as those of us that don't have DVC's start trying for free dining. I know I'll be on the phone at 7am hoping to add it to our Pop reservations.

I got my FD on Thursday, but I pop in here every once in a while to check up on all of you still waiting. I will be back on Monday morning to hear everyone's excitement when you add your FD to your ressies!!!!

I'm still here waiting as well. The joy's of living in Canada, no special UK offers and not able to get a Disney visa. I will be checking tomorrow, just in case, but expect it to be on Monday. I still want a for sure answer if we will be able to book online? I guess we will know Monday. So hello to everyone still waiting. Planning on going Sept 23-28th. Want to try CBR. So hoping there will still be availability. One more day, one more day, one more day.

When I called the other day the guy told me he couldn't activate the code until 5/2. I figure I will just call when I wake up, I don't think he was right. I had a different CM tell me that since we already booked a package we wouldn't lose our spot at CSR for free dining which I don't think was right either. I'm pretty sure no one knows exactly what is right, lol.

Second that. I am losing sleep over this until it's resolved also. I already had my ressie in on the $300 GC promo, and got all my ADR's done a month or so ago. So hopefully I can just get a quick switchover done Monday morning and finally sleep knowing it's fixed.

those cm's were pretty tricky! i booked with the disney visa, and the cm originally quoted me a rate with the preferred room as well. i said i didn't want a preferred room, we were wanting to request another section. then when she confirmed with me, she listed the vacation insurance as part of the total. i told her i didn't want that either. then she was doing a hard sell for MNSSHP tix, saying they sell out quickly. we are going 9/28-10/1, i didn't think it would be an issue, especially since there are 2 parties during that time, so i said we weren't sure about dates. When i got my email, i noticed it said preferred room! i immediatly called back, and they switched it, but there was the hard sell fot the party tix again. i am planning on buying, but geez, give me a minute to recover from buying plane tix and putting down a deposit before youstart going after me for another $120!

So nice of you Lots of stress here! I'm waiting for Monday. DH is looking at me funny. I don't have ADR's yet and I'm trying to prepare my days. He won't look at menus. Some people just don't get it.

Just got off the phone with a CM, she said that FD to the GP is not available today. Asked if it was still coming out tomorrow, and she was unaware of that. Possibly just a weekend CM who doesnt have much information on anything.
