I'm pretty sure I've seen just general sprinkles as well. They're under the Minnie's Bake Shop line. I'm thinking Goofy's Candy Company would be a good bet to find something like that (but I've seen things like these in lots of other places, like resort gift shops or World of Disney).
Right now I'm trying to hunt for some way to acquire the Mickey measuring spoons (the cups are easy, the spoons are being a bit elusive!).
I'm definitely adding "Mickey sprinkles" to my list of things I want to buy while in Disney.
I forgot to look to see if you have a ticker before I posted. But, I'll be headed back to Disney in May and would be more than happy to look for the measuring spoons if you'd like. I bought a red, white and black set for my daughter last trip and I think they also had the white with blue ones as well.
Wow, Lisa, I can't believe it is just two months till the next trip! This year is just flying by! I am jealous but I will try to be adult about it - Boohoohoo. We aren't going this year. DD and her family are going to Universal to see Harry Potter and the rest this summer. It is her hubby's birthday trip and they haven't invited anyone else. They haven't had a vacation with just the four of them in several years, so I understand why they want to but I will really miss seeing it with them.
My husband and I are supposed to take a cruise this summer but some unexpected expenses may sink that ship. We'll see. I really hope to go to Alaska and take a cruise tour. It is so expensive to fly there that we figured we might as well see as much as possible in one trip! Time will tell. I am looking forward to hearing all about your plans, but sad to see another fun TR start to wind down.
I am so ready to go back to Disney. John was saying this past week that he was ready to go on vacation. With wedding planning, searching for doctors, my aunt's surgery, etc., we all need a break!
I can understand why your DD would want to go on a vacation with the family but it sure does suck when you know that someone is in Florida and you're not.
I know all about unexpected expenses. Well, actually, we've got a lot of "expected" expenses this year....Lacey finishing college, Lacey's wedding, Hunter's orchestra trip, John needs a new trip, we have to refinance a loan in May. Ugggh! Things just never stop.
My mother was all ready to go on an Alaskan cruise last Summer but then had to have her surgery and didn't get to book. She was going with a group of people from church. They didn't plan on doing everything together but they all were going to book as a group so they'd get a discount.
I sure hope it works out that you get to go
somewhere this Summer.
I know first hand how it feels to be with someone who acts like a bufoon (sp?). My brother's ex-wife was just like that. Notice I said EX?
She would go off the deep end at the drop of a hat...no matter where we were...and act a total fool. It was so embarrassing I would just slink away and got to the point that I would not even walk with her. I would always walk several steps behind her, and their kids would usually be with me. My poor brother was stuck, though.
As a matter of fact, if I didn't know better, I would think that was her you saw. Sounds just like her. So happy I no longer have to deal with her antics and embarrassment.
I have a sister-in-law like that. She makes such a fuss about everything but somehow seems to come out great in the end. For example, she fussed about the shipping costs of a desk and credenza that she ordered from Sam's and somehow got them free because of all of her fussing. She pitched a fit when she and her husband went on a boat tour in Florida and they refunded her money. She has never bought an iron the entire time she and my brother-in-law have been married. She got one for a wedding gift, wore it out and took it back to the store and told them it was faulty. She's done that so many times it's pitiful.
I don't see how you survived a trip with her. I'd have either had words with her or left her. Maybe I would have done both.
