Good morning all! DH and I have not sailed since before Covid and I am shocked by the eyewatering suite prices on the Wish for concierge. We are now considering the Utopia and thought I would start a thread for others considering this beautiful new ship. It's great that they have a Sky Junior Suite which appears to have all the privileges of Sky Class. We are considering that category or the Grand Suite which by the way is nearly $2,000 cheaper than the November 2024 4-night Fantasy concierge cruise we were considering.

Anyone else excited for this new cruise option?

I'm kind of waiting for longer cruises out of somewhere other than Orlando before I'll consider it.

(edit) I've read that the shorter cruises and Orlando home port is a deliberate strategy on the part of Royal, as they want to hook new cruisers with the lower prices and less time commitment, and make full use of Coco Cay as a destination.

I booked a Grand Suite for a 3-night in September for $3000. Pricing is pretty good in my opinion. This is going to be Disney's direct competitor out of PC for short cruises. The pricing is lower and it's a brand new ship with all the bells and whistles on an itinerary where some stay on the ship when visiting Nassau. So much more to do on this class of ship then on a Disney ship.

We live local and can be at the port in an hour. I like the 3-night getaway cruises, but Disney is just priced too high for that short experience.

We're booked for a 4 night Utopia cruise in August of next year in a balcony cabin. I used to only cruise with Disney, but Disney's high prices led me to seek out Royal Caribbean and give it a try. Royal Caribbean's Oasis Class ships are incredible and offer so much more for adults and children seem to be having a great time, too. We love all the neighborhoods on the ships, as well as the casino, and the opportunity to purchase a deluxe beverage package and ultimate dining plan, things that are not on or offered on a Disney ship, add to the enjoyment, as I hate having a bar bill at the end of my cruise. Disney's Castaway Cay really cannot compare with Royal Caribbean's Coco Cay. Coco Cay is stunning. We still go to the Disney parks, but when we cruise, we cruise with Royal now.
