UPDATE - Discount District
There have been quite a few posts regarding Best Buy separating online orders. This is such a negative turn of events a new data point has been added. It does not mean it will happen to everyone but you may want to consider going in-store to make your purchases. Be sure to check for any sites offering cb in-store.

Here's a new RMN DP-

I placed two orders at Best Buy, one on 11/24 (Merchandise only) and one on 11/28 (Merchandise and a physical GC). They both just popped upon RMN. The 11/24 one is pending for 10% back on the full amount (less tax). The 11/28 one was marked ineligible for the entire amount. It was a $120 order, which, when excluding gift cards, still should have resulted in $7 cash back. Under normal circumstances, I would have complained, because the merchandise should have been eligible. But I hesitate, because I don't want them looking at my account, especially since I've had the best luck with Best Buy overall.
Follow up.

My entire 11/28 Best Buy order had been marked ineligible, both physical GCs and eligible merchandise. I chose not to contact them because I didn't want to disturb any other pending rewards. But I noticed this morning that the entire purchase is now pending on RMN.

No clue what is going on. But I guess we'll wait to see if they pay out and for how much.

We bought a new TV and sound bar system last Saturday at Best Buy, it was a great deal and I placed the order for pickup using RMN which was at 10%. On my Amex card the TV and soundbar are split. It's fine for Amex because it didn't need to be a single purchase, plus either item on their own would get the $25 back. However, it seems to be messing up RMN. Not sure whether to contact them because I don't want them scrutinizing my ShopDisney GC purchases that are pending...

I had a purchase of another product at Best Buy that was just rejected from RMN and I was thinking the same thing, I don't want to make any waves before the DGC purchases settle... 😅

New month, new opportunities, check your Chase cards again for additional bonuses:
I just checked mine and only one received this new offer:

Your offer has been activated.

Get a $10 statement credit when you activate and spend a total of $200 on restaurant, take out, and eligible delivery purchases from 12/06/2022 - 02/28/2023.*

To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 02/28/23 11:59 PM ET. You will qualify for and receive your bonus if you make Purchases with your credit card that total an amount at or above the specified target amount during the promotional period in the following rewards categories: restaurant, takeout and eligible delivery purchases. Merchants who accept Visa/Mastercard credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa/Mastercard procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Please note: We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won’t qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category. Purchases submitted by you, an authorized user, or the merchant through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology will not qualify in a rewards category if the technology is not set up to process the purchase in that rewards category. For more information about Chase rewards categories, see chase.com/RewardsCategoryFAQs. Purchases posted to your account with a transaction date during the offer period are eligible for this offer. Delays by the merchant, such as shipping, could extend the transaction date beyond the offer period. Please allow up to 8 weeks after qualifying for statement credit to post to your account. (“Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) To qualify for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. This promotional offer is non-transferable. Eligible credit cards: Aeroplan® Card, Aer Lingus Visa Signature® Card, British Airways Visa Signature® Card, Iberia Visa Signature® Card, British Airways Visa Card, Disney® Visa® Card, Disney® Premier Visa® Card, Chase Freedom card, Chase Freedom Student card, Chase Freedom Unlimited card, Chase Freedom Flex card, IHG® Rewards Traveler Credit Card, IHG® Rewards Premier Credit Card, IHG® Rewards Classic Credit Card, IHG® Rewards Select Credit Card, Marriott Bonvoy® Credit Card, Marriott Bonvoy® Premier Credit Card, Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card, Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card, The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Employee Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Card, Starbucks® Rewards Visa® Card, United MileagePlus® Awards Card, United Gateway℠ Card, United℠ Explorer Card, United Quest℠ Card, United MileagePlus® Select Card, United℠ Presidential Plus℠ Card, United Club℠ Card, World of Hyatt Credit Card or Chase Sapphire card.

Anyone can earn target circle bonuses. I don’t have a red card but get them. Anyone who can log into the app can earn them.
purchases of Target Gift cards do not qualify toward earning a Target Circle Award. I was in Target this morning and my purchase of $250 of Target gift cards did not count toward my Circle Bonus offer of 3-$100 purchases to earn $30 reward. However my $200 Disney Card purchase did qualify.

I might be done with buying gift cards online. Bought a Target gift car and am having the same exact issue as last month. The link in the email does not load no matter what I do.

I don’t know why you quoted me with this response. What you quoted was my response to you saying you thought you had to use a Target Red credit Card as payment to qualify for Target bonuses :

Are you sure about this? I thought you had to use your Target Red Card to make purchases to qualify for a Target Circle Bonus...

My response is strictly about using a Red Card to pay, not anything to do with what if you are purchasing qualifies:

I’m not discussing what purchases qualify for bonuses, just who can qualify for them. And it is not just Red Card owners.

Right, this has been posted in Discount District for a while now and if you go to page 634, I posted in detail how to use all Target Offers. :thumbsup2

I usually get two or three emails from Target.
  • Purchase Confirmation
  • Link to gift card
  • If buying a gc with a free Target gc, they send the freebie separately.

So interesting DP... I bought $250 total DGC. 2 were $50 physical card that were mailed and one each $100 & $50 e-card. BB split the payment between the physical (billed 11/29) that were shipping and the e-cards (billed 11/28). I got the confirmation email from RMN on 12/2 that I earned $15 on a $150 order. I just checked my RMN account to see if anything was reversed and the BB purchase is pending for $25 on the $250 order....

I swear the love of my life, man of my dreams reminds me of Clark Griswold in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

Look what I just found in his secret hiding place!

And yes, he did hide it in the attic and pulled a Griswold!

Oh no! Good you have a sense of humor about it. My DH would be beside himself if he did that. But I love those movies. Chevy Chase & Clark Griswald remind me so much of my dad.

I know it’s been asked and often, but I cannot use a Target gc to pay for a Disney gc, correct?

The 10% off deal is great, but I have a cruise and AP renewal to pay for.
