we will be buying a tree for our GV in SSR...............we will be checking out on Dec 15th to then go cruising...................we would love to donate our tree to someone else for their use................is this possible if so how do we do it?

If anyone at the VWL has a problem finding their tree, ask Bell Services or the Concierge to check the Mail Room.

In case anyone is interested, or knows of anyone who is, this tree has become available on or after 12/30 due to change in plans. We would be willing to take the tree to any of the DVC resorts if need be, as we are now the last family on this list. :sunny:

I figured the BCV tree was there, just didnt want to assign it to anyone coz it was there... lol

And I updated the list with LIFERBABE..... so your not taking it on the ship with you???
 
It looks like there is a tree that is unused at Saratoga Springs on the 14th.
I check in there on the 14th if it's still available.

How do I get it back to it's owner. The the resort ship it back or is there some way for me to do it?

Sorry if I missed the answer to this on one of the other 25 pages. I scanned most but not all posts.

AL if you dont get one you can have ours on the 15th..............
 
I am sorry AL D all the tree has been shipped down to the resorts with the list of families to pick them up. If you are not on the list the resort will not release the tree to you. At this point we really cant add you to the list, for one the ssr becomes the bzv tree on dec.18th and second we have no way of adding your name to the tree box in time of you arriving. Sorry the tree list is closed once the tree get shipped down to the resorts.
if you go down next year please look for the thread and get on the list next year we would be happy to share a tree with you.


laura, no i am not taking the tree on the cruise, LIFERBABE was on the list from the start and i forgot to add her on the last list, she was not sure if she was going or not. When i shipped the tree i put her name on the tree box luist just in case and she will be down there on those dates.

For some reason some of the trees have been moved by bell service when the trees have been dropped off with bell service. PLEASE, check bell service first, front desk, then ask about the mail room and last concerige. If you are staying concerige please tell bell service not to keep the tree in concerige because the next family is not staying in concerige. Thank You, Happy Holidays !

At BWV, Bell Services wouldn't take "our" tree (Thanks, Laura)- we had to give it to the folks at the registration desk. When I told the front desk people that Bell Services sent me to them, they sort of scowled (at B.S., not at me). So something's up with that!

Hey Erica!!! How was your trip?? I must say it was soooo tottaly cool talking to you while you were at Cape May!!! My DH cant wait to eat there!! (me too, love the desserts!)
 
Heading down tomorrow and looking forward to getting the tree! I'll be sure to post a pic of me in front of it. :cool1:

And I'll be happy to be escaping the 18 degree weather and upcoming Nor'easter! Hopefully the 8 inches of snow will hold off until after my plane takes off!

We had such an nice trip, and loved staying at BWV. It was our first stay there- had a great view of IllumiNations plus Peace on Earth from the balcony. Also loved Cape May- thanks for the tip to get one of those Oreo mousses- yum!

Just thought I would send a quick note to let you know that our tree was nowhere to be found, I tried 2 days in a row with no luck! Poohj80 was able to locate it, unsure how and where it was! Maybe next year, Lori

I did recieve a call from Poohj80 though while we were still there and they brought down a very cute ornament made or from Gail and Joe. Thanks so much. Lori

I believe it was ultimately located in lost-and-found. I have no idea why or how it ended up there.

I left VWL tree #2 with bell services and they said they would store it in the luggage room. Hope greenban gets the tree.
