Port Cams Never Pans Left

There is a ship docked in between the camera and the Disney dock. It is the Victory II, came from Jacksonville I think, is a gambling ship and is just docked. If you happen to watch just as the Disney ship leaves, the camera will pan left, you can see the "smoke" stacks of Disney, then it will appear almost directed across from the camera

Literally just zoomed in on the smoke stacks :rotfl2:
It is hard with the angle to see past the gambling ship but it is possible (as soon as PP replied the camera zoomed in)

Yep ... VICTORY II is blocking the view for now ... occasionally the cam does pan and you get to see a close up of the boat. I guess Jax couldn't provide enuf folks willing to burn money and the long term parking in PC must cost less! Unless fishlips wants to build a tower to raise the camera, or the webcam folks find a taller place willing to host .... I don't see things getting better 'less VICTORY II finds a new place to start operating from ....

here's DCL leaving right now ....

enhance

you are looking over the top deck of VICTORY II

btw .. the camera sits MUCH higher than the second floor deck of Fishlips .... so if you go there to eat and are expecting to see the ships leave ... right now 50% of your view is the side of VICTORY II

If I'm not mistaken, the Victory ships have been and are being refurbished. Neither is going to operate from Port Canaveral. Their Cuba cruises will depart from Miami.

It is too bad ..... except for Victory II and company that gets a LOT of free advertising from Fishlips . I have noticed since the casino boat has been parked there , the viewership has diminished and I am included in that count. No more fun to watch during the day to see Disney , in particular , or anything on that end of the channel . Glad I'm not paying for Premium access.

Maybe we can get Royal Caribbean to help "to move the Victory II" - since they dusted a Carnival ship earlier this year :teeth:

Article Here

I am kinda surprised I didn't see anything about this back when "it happened / was reported"

The Marine Traffic site shows the Victory 2 out at sea (well, as of 18 hours ago). Has anyone check the port cam to see the Dream in there? Looks like the Fantasy is very close.
