Oh how I wish Disney would bring back......

Funny how no one wants the great big pink cake castle back! :P

I'd love to see the original Journey Into Imagination, the dining plan that included apps and tips, and 20,000 Leagues. I kind of remember that one from when I was a kid and would love to see how it compares to my memory of it.

Skyway, Test Track 1.0, Spectromagic, ORIGINAL Backlot Tour. These things I remember so fondly on my past trips to WDW. Skyway was such a convenient (and relaxing) ride, and even though it had an unfortunate CM incident, I still feel it was a key part in how my family enjoyed MK back then.

Test Track 1.0 had such a good theme going, especially with the two crew members that talked to you throughout the ride (the Tron-vibe, while aesthetically pleasing, feels too generic and futuristic for my taste with no genuine meaning behind the theme :().

The Backlot Tour was great in its heyday, even if I never saw it in its true prime (I went on it in 96', 97', 09' and 10'.) Those early visits were miles better than the later ones.

Finally, Spectromagic. :cloud9: I know people were happy to get MSEP back, but I'm one of many that was saddened to see Spectro go. The music, the lights, the sheer beauty was just something else (and had that Disney magic that you just can't get anywhere else). If I remember correctly, MSEP left DL around this time too, and I remember talking to someone that was sad to see MSEP go. I said to her "MSEP is DL's parade, and Spectro is WDW's...I don't hate your parade at all (in fact I think it's cute and I do like it a bit), but it belongs where it's been for ages, as does Spectro. They both have been there so long that many people have literally grown up knowing them. They are two completely different parades. IMO, Spectro was more dreamy and mystical, while MSEP is the embodiment of childhood joy, which fits the motto for their respective park. MSEP for the "Happiest Place On Earth", and Spectro for "The Place Where Dreams Come True".

IDK, call me incredibly nostalgic, but when enough little things from your childhood leave your favorite place in the world, it starts getting to you. :sad1:

You must be younger (much) than me. When I was a kid, it was always MSEP at Walt Disney World. So, in my case, Spectromagic does not belong at Walt Disney World. So, I suppose following your train of thought, I'm happy WDW has MSEP again, because that is "the little thing from my childhood" that is stil in "my favorite place in the world."

Free dinning that was actually attainable... dining packages with apps, entree, desert and tips included.

I've never used a dining plan - they dont include tips?! I feel so horrible for the servers in WDW. I've worked in tourist-y places before and I can only imagine how much stricter tip outs, etc. must be in WDW. Wow :(

Chef Mickey's at DTD. the Ribs were great. Skyway. Parades at DHS

The sorcerer's hat at HS. I never got a picture with it. :( I dunno why but I loved that thing. Never got to do Alien Encounter so I'd like that back too.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Sky Way, Adventure's club, breakfast on the paddle boat, and the Polynesian Lobby. I have not been yet to the Polynesian yet to see the new lobby but I have been told it lost that scent that instantly brought back tons of memories.

20,000 leagues - I was so freaked out when I was a tiny kiddo thinking I was way, way underneath the water lol. And Mission to Mars was it called? It was a big room with a movie screen if I remember right? Penny Arcade.

Paper (original, legacy) FastPass, where everyone was on equal footing
Tarzan Rocks! Easily my favorite show
The original ending to Spaceship Earth, where you floated backwards through tunnels of light and sound
Adventurer's Club- Kungaloosh!
Lights of Winter
Maelstrom- don't get me started...
Wonders of Life Pavilion
Four for a Dollar and other live entertainment before the scheduled shows

The double-decker buses at Epcot. I know it would be totally impossible now, but I loved being able to ride 'around the world' before we picked countries to visit.
Yes! Totally forgot about this.

The cowboy stunt show in Frontier Land at MK
That was cool and fun to watch.

Hmm...quality! Quality in product and service.
One can always dream!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show was the BEST live show ever!

Test Track 1.0 was far superior to the new Tron version....bring it back!

I loved the Year of a Million dreams & wish they would always do it. Getting the dream fastpasses was awesome & the other little things they gave away made it more magical.

I loved Year of a Million Dreams too...wish they would bring something like that back...we got special Mickey Ears.
