I received my package yesterday from Barbara.

She sent me a nice recipe book that she put together, which I left at home in my hurry to get to work this morning. So, I can't post any recipes from it

The package also included the following:

Santa Claus table runner
pumpkin pot holders
ornament salt/pepper shakers
snowman baking cups
package of recipe cards
bread basket and towel set.

Thanks, Barbara, for all the recipes and the nice gifts.

I am home again ...well, and ...but we go back in Feb.

I had a lot of packages waiting for me and one was from pennst8r, Lynne.

Cute!! The recipes were on cute cards that say " I am only as strong as the coffee I drink and the hairspray I use" and "I child-proofed my house, but they still get in"
The recipes are for:
Winter fruit salad with Lemon poppyseed dressing
Avocado Feta Salsa
Chocolate Chip cheeseball
Texas caviar
Banana Bread
Scones
Sugared Nuts

Looking foreward to testing them ....I am going to start being the "Dinner's Ready" lady for DS and DDIL

Along the same lines as the recipe cards, I received a dish cloth that says "A Clean House is the Sign of a Wasted Life"
a wonderful Mickey head chip and dip bowl
Halloween bottle labels "Bat Juice" and "Wicked Remedy"...I think DS will get these. He is into Halloween alot and has and goes to a lot of parties
cute blue snowman pancake turner and green spatula
super cute corderoy gingerbread man pot holder
chocolate covered marshmallow peep pumkin.....DD
and super cute giant gummy candy corn...also DD

Sorry. I picked up my package at the post office Friday evening. Never had a chance to get online with all the craziness of the weekend....that kicked off with the kids calling to say the bus broke down....AGAIN.....(4th time in 2 weeks) and I had to go out looking for a bus down one of our little side roads. Then all the kids activities plus visiting with my dad in the hospital....WHEW.....I'm tired.


I received a wonderful package from Cindy (clhcpacca)

Inside I found - English breakfast tea, 3 small Yankee candles in McCantosh & Pear, 3 fall pot holders, packet of coffee, recipe cards, kitchen towel, beef spice rub, mini tobassco's, Yankee candle hand sanitizer, tiny spoon, and some dried hot peppers (will have to cook up a batch of Mexican cornbread and use these in it).

The recipes I received were:
Slow Cooker Chili Mole
Roast Turkey with Sage
Spicy Beef cross rib roast with caramelized clementine sauce
Zucchini Nut loaf
Pumpkin Cake roll

Glad it got there. We had a great time, great weather, too. We should have rode the same ride at the same time at the different parks and had a cross country DIS meet
