cannot believe all the construction at the entrance of the Poly. When Joe and I arrived, we weren't even sure where to enter, lol. It took us a minute to get acclimated. That being said, I think it's going to look amazing when everything is complete.
I met Melinda, aka @pepperandchips and R in the lobby (Joe was taking some b-roll for our vlog). A few minutes later, we all met up at the Tambu Lounge and ordered drinks. Joe and I shared a Lapu Lapu. We sat in the lounge for a few hours, chatting and laughing. It was so good to see our friends. It had been a few months but it felt like forever. They are such an awesome couple and we really appreciate now more than ever the time we get to spend with our friends...
All too soon it was time to say goodbye for now. Melinda and R had dinner plans and Joe and I needed to grab something to eat too, because we were going to pop over to Timmy's apartment to say a quick hello. We decided on Capt' Cooks. I had the pulled pork nachos, topped with cheese, spicy mayonnaise, pico de gallo, and pineapple salsa and Joe ordered the
Thai Coconut Meatballs, house-made all-beef chili-garlic meatballs cooked in a coconut cream served over white rice. OMG you all! The meatballs were AMAZING. I loved the nachos, but the meatballs were the definite winner.
