I just love this. I feel like it FITS future world. I know people have negative opinions about IP at Epcot but I like to think of Epcot as 2 halves. World Showcase is the real life real world experiences, and future world is all make believe/or what "would be" someday.

Salt & Straw will be opening tomorrow, April 20th at Disney Springs, and they have announced a free scoop of ice cream to the first 100 guests on opening day!

2022 Hollywood Studios Moonlight Magic Registration Opens Today​

Members with confirmed Disney hotel reservations on the night of an event can start booking the three Hollywood Studios dates beginning at 11:00am Eastern on Wednesday, April 20. Click HERE to be redirected to the event sign-up page. The dates of the events are Tuesday, May 24, Thursday, June 16 and Thursday, July 14, 2022.

If I recall, they will allow tastes. They also sell very small cones if you just want a little or to have a couple of different flavors. That's how it was at Disneyland anyway.

New Tower Structure Visible at Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ in EPCOT​

It’s possible this tower will be turned into the tall rock structure seen in concept art for the walkthrough attraction, seen below.

Celebrate Your Disney Memories with New Virtual Mural on Cinderella Castle​

In honor of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration, today Disney PhotoPass Service is introducing “Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories,” which lets you virtually transform Cinderella Castle with your photos. While at Magic Kingdom Park, you can use the My Disney Experience app to add select Disney PhotoPass photos to Cinderella Castle using some really cool augmented reality technology, brought to life through our collaboration with Snap.

Once you get started, the experience will prompt you to select a portrait-oriented Disney PhotoPass photo from your photo gallery within the My Disney Experience app. If you prefer not to use one of these photos, you can also choose from our collection of images featuring Disney icons and favorite characters.

This experience, available for $9.99, includes:

• A spot of your choosing on available sections on Cinderella Castle to digitally pin your photo, which will be waiting for you and other guests to view again and again during visits to Magic Kingdom Park throughout the celebration and beyond (for at least three years).
• A special video of your photo flying from the castle that can be downloaded and shared.
• The ability to download a high-resolution version of your pinned photo from your Disney PhotoPass gallery without watermarks (a $16.95 value), both in its original form and an additional version with a special border applied that includes your first name. The virtual queue process is NOT just an opening day thing. Based on the information we got in speaking with Salt & Straw team members, once the line for the ice cream shop gets long each day, they’ll start using the virtual queue.

Here’s how it works (or at least how we saw it in action on opening day). There is an individual near Salt & Straw with an iPad. You’ll head to that individual to get checked in. Then, you’ll get a text when it’s time for you to come back. Once you receive that text, you’ll make your way back to Salt & Straw and hop in line to get in the ice cream store.

Itineraries for the July 30 and August 10, 2022 sailings on the Disney Magic have been altered to no longer visit St. Petersburg, Russia and other destinations.

Here are the modified itineraries.

July 30, 2022:

• Saturday: Dover, England
• Sunday: Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Monday: Zeebrugge, Belgium
• Tuesday: Day at Sea
• Wednesday: Oslo, Norway
• Thursday: Skagen, Denmark
• Friday: Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany
• Saturday: Day at Sea
• Sunday: Stavanger, Norway
• Monday: Day at Sea
• Tuesday: Fredericia, Denmark
• Wednesday: Copenhagen, Denmark

Aug. 10, 2022:

• Wednesday: Copenhagen, Denmark
• Thursday: Oslo, Norway
• Friday: Gothenburg, Sweden
• Saturday: Day at Sea
• Sunday: Alesund, Norway
