We used the DDP last June. It worked out great for our family. The only problem we had with it was that so many of the CM did not know how it worked. Every night it was such an ordeal.
Have the bugs and kinks been worked out? We are planning a trip next June and want to use the DDP.

Seems like b/c WDW can make changes to the plan whenever they see fit (esp when changing from 06 to 07) there will still be some confusion. Also, by the reviews and comments Ive seen, there may be some CMs using their own creative interpretations of the DDP~ such as limiting the # of CS a person can order at a time, and allowing things like smoothies & shakes at TS as drinks :confused3 I guess Ill just be prepared to go with the flow popcorn::

The problem is that guests keep on finding new ways to exploit loopholes, so Disney keeps changing things to try to plug them. Expect just as much confusion next year as last year, at least unless Disney locks every thing down solid (which they're unlikely to do).

We were there in May and had no problems with the DDP. The new snacks had just become available, but were clearly labelled as to what counted as a snack credit. I did ask about one thing that wasn't labelled and was told that the label applied to everything in the case.

At most TS, we were clearly told what was on the plan--like smoothies and milkshakes. We found that the menus had been changed in some places (Teppanyaki) to make things quite clear. It didn't seem to be a CM thing whether or not smoothies were a beverage but rather a restaurant policy.

We didn't try anything odd...like paying OOP for kid meals to use credits purchased at child's price to obtain adult food.
