We are headed to Nassau in April and Queen’s staircase is on our list! Maybe I’ll print off a map before we leave.
I remember that this is the Bahamian Parliament Building. Beautiful morning.Friday, January 21, 2022
I believe this is a municpal administration building right outside the port area. It was lovely!

We were told on our first visit to Nassau that the first building with the statue in front of it was the "most photographed" building in the Bahamas--who knows if that's true, but we have made sure to stop there on our subsequent visits to always take a picture there!
I wish I had known about the Queen's Staircase before! This is the first I've heard of it, and definitely have added to our list for next time. Nassau isn't a port we have spent much time exploring, so I'm glad to have more reason to give it some more time on our next visit.
I was going to say the same thing never heard of the Queen’s staircase. Pretty cool was it walkable from the port?

Turns out the fall was a kind of blessing in disguise. After I got cleaned up, we headed to the Cove Pool, where we found lounge chairs in the sun. We relaxed, read books, drank cocktails and held hands the entire day. We talked about taking a ride on the water slides or finding an activity on the ship, but why would we leave paradise? We stayed through happy hour and talked with other sun-loving Disney adults. Sadly, we have no pictures from this part of the day, as we left our phones charging in the room. We just chilled in the beautiful weather on the gorgeous Magic with each other's company...and it was perfect.

We don't enjoy the fully automated Navigator...we feel we miss things we wouldn't have missed with the printed schedule. We aren't sure if there's stuff that wasn't brought back since Covid or if we just missed them. It's hard to imagine they thought it was OK to do all the MDAS and Pirate activities during Covid, yet they did NOT have a See Ya Real Soon Show?
Next up...our last breakfast and disembarkation.
Love reading your trip report! We have not yet taken a cruise... ever. We are now seriously considering a three day on one of the smaller ships... Just to get the feel of it. Your trip report gives lot of detail and makes it easier for the non-cruiser to have a sense of what this vacation is like. Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences.
Saturday, January 22, 2022 - Debarkation
Looks like Peter may have also chosen some kind of roll or muffin and either yogurt or meuseli. I'm thinking this was meuseli, as it was his last chance to have it for a while and it's one of his favorites.
Our next cruise on the Disney Dream is coming really soon, and I will do another report for that trip, with hopes to provide info in a much more timely manner! I was motivated to get this report done before our next sailing. (This serves as a hint to Peter that the sooner we schedule another cruise, the faster I'll write my report! HAHA!)
You guys are so darn cute! I’m on the Magic this July and loving this trip repor!Monday, January 17, 2022 - Embarkation Day lunch

We were most looking forward to this station, which was just as good as ever

I also got a lamb chop and some salmon. The lamb was good (just a little dry), the salmon was GREAT

Peter took some carrot cake, which was good

The coffee is still gross, seriously...it's not drinkable

So that was it for Cabanas, but this is embarkation day, and we still had hours before our stateroom would be ready (3pm), AND we had to get the taste of that horrible coffee out of our mouths!
So...
We went out and grabbed some lamb/beef shwarma. This was fine but not great, a nice option to have on a ship

And then we needed a second dessert! I'm vanilla, Peter is chocolate

And a drink of the day, a Bahama Mama, in a souvenir glass

This is the life! We couldn't be happier.
Up next, more embarkation glee.

Ugh, the last day, so sad! It always comes too quickly, too.
We've never done express walk-off with our own bags, but after our last trip, we just might! We put our bags out (3 of them) the night before we debarked. When we got into the terminal to collect our bags, two of them were right beside each other, and the last one was nowhere to be found. We walked around and around our area and ended up getting two more CMs involved in the search. I was SWEATING and anxious the whole time trying to remember exactly what was packed in the now missing bag. It ended up turning up beneath some other suitcases as people were arriving and taking their bags. I was SO relieved, but never want to deal with that again!
