In my opinion the best possible thing for Lucasfilm going forward is to just let Kathleene Kennedy retire at the end of her contract. I would just put everything on hold and let her go out with Indy 5 being the last thing she was ever involved in. Her creative vision and leadership for Lucasfilm has just been a complete mess as of late, with almost all of her projects losing money and not meeting fan expectations.
She will never be fired like some of the fan base seems to want, but just let her leave with all the high praises and everything. Give her a lifetime achievement award and a golden parachute and beg her to leave and never set foot on a set or in a pitch meeting again.
This is Lucasfilm's best path to a profitable future that can begin to meet fan expectations again imho.
