Anyone Check into a Bahamas Hotel other than Atlantis or Comfort Suites?

Just wondering. We are considering checking into Crystal Palace while docked in the Bahamas. Has anyone ever done this? I was thinking it would be cheaper, still give us the Beach/Pool experience of the Bahamas. Without so much walking! We would use the room for a nap or changing. It seems like the Atlantis would be such a long walk to room, beach, pool. Or is that wrong? Crystal Palace is 105-115 a night vs. Atlantis 275 - 350 a night. Any opinions?

We have visited Atlantis so kinda have an idea what it is like. Walked around the pools, etc. Our boys are 6 and 10. My husband would most likely be golfing while we swim.

Not sure if this helps but I have stayed at the Radison which I believe is next door to the crystal place, it was nice, we also used the crystal place for the casino, and had no problems. Good luck.

I'm not sure where I read it on the board. But someone just got back and said a gal was selling these wrist bands that entitled you to everything there!! There were 25.00 each. Someone called the Atlantis to see if this was true. They said you SHOULD book a room. But it didn't sound like it was necessary. We're going to book our room with Comfort Suites just in case.
But that would save a lot of money.
