Has anyone heard if the Lady & the Tramp Passholder Pin is back in stock yet?
Booo. I disagree. If you're going to a signature restaurant or experience, you should look the part and fit in. We're there to have a luxurious experience, not be with riff-raff-looking people.
Wow. You're still in a theme park. At a hotel is a different story.Booo. I disagree. If you're going to a signature restaurant or experience, you should look the part and fit in. We're there to have a luxurious experience, not be with riff-raff-looking people.
Walking around Epcot, enjoying the booths and all the sights is so fun and relaxing. Here's hoping everything comes together and you get to go.everyone please cross your fingers for me. I really, really need to get away this weekend and have not been to F&W yet this year. I am trying to come down tomorrow but I am standby and the flights are filing up. I am now contemplating flying into Tamp and driving over (only an extra forty minutes according to mapquest). I NEED this. Work sucks lately, DH has been out of town and the kids have been extraordinarily teenagery this week. I need to have the Australian lamb chop and a cocktail.
Nothing wrong with dressing as you like. I also am OK with others dressing as they like while they are in Orlando on vacation.I have to agree with you on this one, especially with events like PFTS and dining experiences at the signature restaurants. If you are doing the Parisian Breakfast - fine wear park attire, but an event like PFTS that is $170 or more I would prefer to see people a little more dressed up. Cocktail dress & suit dressed up? No, but at least a little more dressy. For our group the women usually wear dresses and the men are in slacks & dress shirts(at least a polo). If you were on vacation in New York City and going to a high end restaurant - would you wear the shorts to dinner that you wore while touring the city?
For us, PFTS and signature restaurants are dining events and we enjoy getting dressed up a little.
Anybody else get the e-mail about PFTS for 2/23? They almost immediately retracted and sent out the correct date, but for a second there I thought I had royally messed something up. Lol
And you will, at least with the non-server event staff. They'll be wearing the formal costumes tonight and at every PFTS, consisting of collared dress shirt with tie and vest. That costume is usually worn at only very special events.but an event like PFTS that is $170 or more I would prefer to see people a little more dressed up.
Will you be there tonight?Anybody else get the e-mail about PFTS for 2/23? They almost immediately retracted and sent out the correct date, but for a second there I thought I had royally messed something up. Lol
At this point, I am wondering if I will ever go again. Between the threat of hurricanes this time of year, the hassle of planning around the Halloween parties, and the ridiculous prices of the wine samples at the Festival, I am now questioning whether it's worth it. This was my fourth F&W and the first time I wasn't head over heels in love with it.
