Hi All, myself and a few other DVC enthusiasts started DVCFORLESS as a passion project. One of the team members built the website DVCstats, which was born from the disboards Rofr tracking threads. We are flattered that you've discovered the site and are finding it useful. We've spent A LOT of time and energy on it, and we have some really really cool features in the works that we hope you're gonna love.

Regarding listing accuracy, I do see we have a small problem with our scraping of Fidelity. We'll make sure its fixed in the next few days. My number one goal is that dvcforless helps you discover and scoop up that amazing deal before anyone else does. Making sure that our listings are 100% accurate and up to date is critical. You can trust that we're always on it and if you do find problems, please reach out to me and I'll get it fixed.

In the meantime, I would love any and all feedback you have for the site.

One thing I would love is to get an alert when either a specific contract reduces its price OR whenever any contract of a certain size at a certain resort is either listed or reduced. Maybe even a sort feature that tells you time since price drop (sort of like days on market)? As we head into the end of the year, it would be great to be able to easily identify motivated sellers.

Really interesting stuff there. It’s wild to see all the different contracts for the same resort sorted by price.

@Galactic Reversal have you seen this? Might be of interest to your various projects.
Oops sorry, missed this. Yeah I found that site a while back and, like everyone else, found it to be very impressive. It seems they have continued to improve it as well which is awesome!

So this deal did not happen over $300? Someone probably already snagged it by now...

If the contract size is good, the use year is good, the timing is good, I probably would have just given the asking price (if it was in a reasonable range) for fear of missing out on it.

We don't know if it was stripped in 23/24/25, right? Or who they wanted to pay fees?

The other question is whether the buyer actually wanted a small contract or if they were ok with a bigger contract, in which case it's not quite as good of a deal, especially if stripped.

RIV is interesting to me, because I certainly wouldn’t want to pay more than $110 for points I can only use at one resort, but also I suspect most RIV sellers probably aren’t willing to part with their contracts for more than 30% less than they bought them for, so I would expect non-distressed sellers to rent or keep using them in hopes that prices rise in the next few years.

We are primarily Epcot folks (and also prefer DHS and AK to MK) and we like the skyliner so I keep meaning to book a couple nights at RIV to test it out in case prices dip below $100 (I may need an option post 2042, after all!) but then I see BCV or BWV or VGF or BRV is available and switch.

I agree that if a person is not distressed doesn't need to sell that low especially if they haven't had the contract too long. Of course, I think even $128 is low and if I wanted more resale points there, I'd pay that without hestiation...
