Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Initial thoughts on the new BWI lounge - it’s a very nice color palate with a fresh and modern look and the layout has more built ins to spread it all out which seems like a huge advantage given the number of rooms it serves. Really well done.

IMO - I don’t necessarily know the semantics, but I feel like it was more of a refresh than a complete overhaul. There were no structural changes that are obvious to me.

Sadly, while they did get the new water dispenser found in other lounges (with still, cold and sparkling), it remains inside the club doors. So the issue of no option for a quick glass of water outside of lounge hours continues to exist.

All of the cast members are incredible, and it’s wonderful to see them again.

The small one in the bottom left has packs of grapes and carrots and is a fridge. (But maybe it can change at night?)

The tall full sized on the outer wall has all of the juices and soft drinks.

Quick question; I know that pre-Pandemic you could pay extra to obtain "Club Level" access at Wilderness Lodge even if you were staying in a regular nonCL room. Is that still an option? Anyone tried recently?

I don’t know definitively, but for what it’s worth, have not seen any reports of being able to do this since reopening.

The lounge looks lovely. I love those booths! All the pull-out drawers below the counters are a nice touch.

Unfortunately I doubt it can change. Just like normal appliances, I think it’s either a refrigerator or freezer. I’ve never seen anything that switches from one to the other. At YC, they have a refrigerator for beverages & a freezer for ice cream. They’re both stocked all day.

Well Poly doesn't have a freezer they just bring out tubs of icecream and toppings. Maybe they can do that if we all ask enough lol.

Concerning the ice cream freezer.

Just checked out this morning from BWI club level stay.

Saw and spoke with quite a few of our CM friends, always a pleasure.

We were told the ice cream freezer will be installed later, there was an issue with getting the model they wanted.

It will not replace the existing fridge unit, it will be in another location in the room.

Also, balconies are locked down permanently.

Advice from anyone who has stayed at one or both recently. I’m trying to decide if I should stick with CR Atrium Club for our entire stay this summer or split stay with the YC CL.
Initially booked a longer week long trip bc we planned on doing a split stay. Due to all the crazy lack of CL availability this summer ended up with just a regular CR TPV room. Then switched to Atrium Club when those were just recently released. Was very excited with that and thought we were all set now, however, was just recently finally able to get a YC CL room (with a great discount) for the last two nights of the trip.

CR is usually our favorite hotel and really the only ding on it is the blah pool for a pre-teen/young teen. I’m afraid that we might be at CR for too long and our main goal for switching to YC would be for SAB, especially for check-out day.
Is the hassle of switching worth it? We’ve never stayed club at CR before and have seen some comments that their food offerings are a weak spot??
