Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We just had to move up our trip to be two days earlier. I decided to change resorts from CR to BWI because it would've been $600 more to stay at CR and that could cover a lot of lunches and snacks.

I'm now straddling between the AP discounts offers since our trip 7/9 to 7/13, so I had to book two ressies to take advantage of both offers. Conveniently BWI Signature Services just called me and I was able to ask them to note it on my stay so I can stay in the same room.

I also was able to snag a Space 220 lunch that someone must have dropped. Today's going to be a good day! Now if only I can stop testing positive for Covid! I picked up that little surprise from my Disney Fantasy cruise last week!

Just tested myself and I’m out of Covid jail!!! I was never that sick and only tested because I saw others in the FB group saying they were positive. I had it last August so I think that helped.

Does anyone if the club lounges would be able to get me a candle to blow out on my birthday? I always make a wish on my birthday but I don’t remember many restaurants having candles and wasn’t sure if that was something possible I could get in the lounge?

Last time I celebrated my birthday at Disney (2016), they did not have any, but luckily my mom had brought some. Not sure if its changed at all since then, but its worth just grabbing a little pack pre-trip!

although we were moved over to a 1BR Villa at the BW from our booked Deluxe CL, we just went(invited of course) and visited with the folks at the new BWI CL lounge; it is nice and airy just like a boardwalk hotel should be; the nicest pastel colors with booths in the corner to eat at; and new very cushiony looking chairs - i hated the old chairs that i would sink into to lol; will be back in sept and january so we will have a full experience there then; the only thing is i feel sorry for Joe, JJ, and the others because of the removal of the desk out front; how can they be expected to stand all day and where would a guest who has some sort of paperwork to show them place it down???? anyway we arrived tuesday and everything is as magical as ever; ate at the new rosa mexicano and it was fantastic; it stormed the whole time but we drove and valeted(they validate like the other places at the swandolphin) from the BW to the Dolphin so we never got wet; for all those headed to the BWI CL enjoy the new look!!!

yes he was there today while we visited! we have seen anita downstairs yesterday; maddy and patrick(he was lead) today downstairs; joe and jj were upstairs when you enter standing' ; of course lene was there but is taking a vacay on mon(she told us why and where but its not my place to post it publicly, however its for a good thing); kathy was also upstairs, in fact she told my wife she took that huge mirror home that they removed from that left wall when you enter the main dining area; britt of course is at the Y&B now promoted;

Now that I am thinking of it, I think my mom also brought a lighter. I think that was actually the problem as the CMs (understandably) didn't want an open flame. Again though, this was BWI in 2016, plenty could have changed!

That’s so odd about the desk removal. Is someone still in the spot out front but just standing? What if someone needs help with something online? Seems strange.

Is there much of a view out of the lounge windows at BWI?

Initial thoughts on the new BWI lounge - it’s a very nice color palate with a fresh and modern look and the layout has more built ins to spread it all out which seems like a huge advantage given the number of rooms it serves. Really well done.

IMO - I don’t necessarily know the semantics, but I feel like it was more of a refresh than a complete overhaul. There were no structural changes that are obvious to me.

Sadly, while they did get the new water dispenser found in other lounges (with still, cold and sparkling), it remains inside the club doors. So the issue of no option for a quick glass of water outside of lounge hours continues to exist.

All of the cast members are incredible, and it’s wonderful to see them again.
