Ugh. Don't make the same mistake I did this morning. I have a Shell rewards account and also a Citi account. I went to get gas and something popped up on the screen that I could spend 1,250 points to get 50 cents off per gallon. That's all it said. Assuming it was some kind of Shell perk, I said yes. Turns out it took away 1,250 Citi points! What a terrible use of points. I'm so mad. It didn't say Citi so I assumed it was Shell. I don't really know much about how the Shell program works, but clearly I needed to pay better attention, but just in case anyone has both, don't let it trick you!

I did something similar once with Amex points at Rite Aid. I called Amex and they returned the points and charged my account the amount of the purchase. Maybe you can call citi and see if they might do the same?

DH and I went to Kohl's last night to pick up Amazon & Lowe's gc but only found Lowe's, maybe Amazon was oos. There were four racks of various gc, no Disney.

I went to Kohls this morning to pick up on another GC with my hubbys chase card. Mine didn’t have Disney either. I bought another Amazon. Didn’t think of Lowes could have done that instead!

Did your order show as shipped on the site, or just no delivery notification?



My order still shows as "Order Placed", but not "Shipped" on the Staples site. Also my CC is still pending, it has not been charged yet.

The original "delivery by" date was 12/6. So maybe it was expected to take 10 days to ship all along.....

I never received a shipment notification for my Staples order but I received the gift cards in the mail yesterday.

I received an email today saying my order may be delayed up to 7 business days???

Thanks for the reply... Nice to hear they came in the mail. We left town abruptly, first Grandchild arrived. We have some getting our mail and monitoring our porch, but mail is definitely a better option for security. Thanks again.

Best Buy is so dumb. I have a Citi offer for $15 off $150. I bought several games online for $151, and went through RMN for 10% CB. They split the order into 2 shipments and made 2 separate charges to my Citi card of $101 and $50 ...and only reported the $50 charge to RMN.

Is there anything I can do about my Citi offer? Any hope Citi will honor it? I have to wait 45 days to contact RMN.

I still have one Rakuten order that paid cash back on 10/20 that is still there but the rest of them from Shop Disney and Target show $0 pending. I went through the Southwest Rapid Rewards portal a few weeks ago to pad some points before booking flights and surprisingly I did get those points posted after buying DGC on Shop Disney.

I received my DGC from Staples yesterday but for some reason the pending charge on my Freedom card went away. I used PayPal with my Freedom card and it still shows that the charge is pending on PayPal so I don't know what is going on there.

I went through the American Airlines portal for all my DGC purchases instead of a CB portal this time as I'm miraculously close to achieving status this year.
Interesting DPs:
- 11/21: Purchased 3 eDGCs in separate transactions, using different Chase cards to capture each of my offers. 2 of the 3 tracked and were awarded, all the way to actually being added to my AAdvantage account, not just the shopping portal.
- 11/26: Made 3 more purchases because I got new chase offers and the points value was bumped for Cyber Monday. None tracked.
-11/29: The two awarded transactions were reversed and the miles removed from my AAdvantage account...BUT they did not reverse the loyalty points (how AA tracks status earning). So, I can't redeem the miles for future flights, but the transactions do count towards my status qualification. Definitely not the best, but also not the worst.

there was some discussion about it a few days ago. I lost 2 that were purchased during RMN glitchy days of 10/15%. but that's it.

I have 4 transactions that I’ve been watching on RMN. Nothing has changed so far as they are still pending. Two were solely physical gift card purchases. Those purchases were made on 11/4 and 11/24. The other 2 were merchandise.

11/28 (1) still pending - mix of eDGC and physical cards

All of the above were done during 15% CB promotions using a PC with the RMN Browser Extension. But the transactions that have changed to ineligible... now say they were only 10% CB offers - but I'm 100% sure they were tracking at 15% before they went ineligible.

All the eDGC were the 50th Celebration ones.
