Just saw a special offer on my capital one shopping portal, virtual visa with 24% rewards…..I had to check it 2-3 times before working up the courage to put in a 1600$ visa order. Says max 2k per month.

How do you get to the capital one shopping portal? Do you need one of their credit cards? I have a savings account with them, but I'm not finding a shopping portal.

I got it from apple play store, I am showing 24% not under personal but under normal offers now. In addition I am seeing the 2k per month removed, now 2k per transaction! Is this showing for anyone else now?!

Ok kind of strange....I posted earlier about 2 recent experiences with my Target Circle Reward offer...”make 3 purchases of $80+ and earn $25 reward...my first experience I made a “pick-up order” of $104 and 2 items ended up being shipped and 1 item was canceled but my total order still over $80 however the order was 2 separate charges on my Target account and I was therefore not given the credit toward the Circle offer. I called customer service and was basically told “sorry” nothing we can do. So then I was at Target on 10/16 and purchased a $100 Disney gift card. When I checked my acct on the app a few days later purchase showed up on my acct but not on the Circle Reward. I called and confirmed that gift cards are eligible purchases to earn the Circle Rewards but you just can’t use the actual reward to purchase them. i told cust service that charge was not applied to my Target Circle and she said their system was experiencing a delay and would catch up in next day or 2. Didn’t happen I called agin after a week and the offering was expiring on 10/27. this time I was told they would correct it and I would receive the reward. I didn’t and yesterday shich was a day before the offer expired the whole offer disappeared from my acct. I was going to call back today and last night I received this email:

Target Guest Relations sent you a $25.00 USD Target eGiftCard.

Thanks again for contacting Target regarding your recent experience. We've sent this Target GiftCard because we want you to come back for a better experience. We look forward to serving you again soon at Target. Interesting because I earned the $25 reward it’s not like they are actually giving me anything to compensate...

I'm holding out hope for a BJs deal on Black Friday this year too...

I did a search for "BJ's Black Friday 2022" and it seems a website has the advertising from BJs. If the information is correct, it seems that the discount for a $500GC went down to 5.4% rather than the 6% in previous years (Page 46 - $500GC for $472.99).

And the $25 card was 23.49, or 6%........ the other cards $50, $100, and $150 did not have the prices listed.

So, I think this is personalized, because I didn't have this offer at all (at any amount). However, thank you for posting beacuse it prompted me to go through my offers with a fine tooth comb. I found a 15% cashback for Vivid Seats, which is what I just used to buy tickets for Game 5 of the World Series. That took a tiny bit of the sting out of my purchase. So thank you!

I'm attaching an image from the Capital One gift card rewards. Is there any merchant I can use their GC to turn into a DGC? Otherwise, I guess I'll just use it for groceries and only use Capital One Shopping as a last resort.

As far as I know, none.

Certain Happy Cards can be used at Gamestop to purchase gift cards, but I'm not sure if their own GC's can be used.

I'm not seeing it there. I see discounts for AP, Disney+, and Military. I only knew about the 25% because I got an e-mail. I don't know how to otherwise access it.

ETA: I just clicked on the link from my credit card page to see it, then backed out of it to the special offers page, and now it's there. It was absolutely not showing up for me before that. Weird.

I booked CSR for 4/22-4/27 and I used the AP discount it was better than the Vis a discount

You could flip it by getting sams/walmart gcs and buying discount tickets from Sam’s for DW or DL if you get enough haha. Just a thought. Other than that, no, typically as a rule of thumb gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.

Now visa gift cards are technically visas, so outside of gift card mall/gift cards.com most retailers allow them to buy gift cards.

As for me, I use the savings to redirect my household spending. I typically do a good bit of shopping at sam’s, etc so I just use the gift card and then divert the money saved to my trip savings line.
