Skydance New Media Developing New ‘Star Wars’ Game​


Skydance New Media and Lucasfilm Games are developing a new narrative-drive, action-adventure game featuring an original story set in the “Star Wars” universe.

Amy Henning (Legacy of Kain, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted), president at Skydance New Media, said, “I’ve often described how seeing ‘Star Wars’ in 1977 essentially rewired my 12-year-old brain, shaping my creative life and future indelibly. I’m elated to be working with Lucasfilm Games again to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love.”

This is potentially huge for gaming fans. Hennig really pushed the gaming medium with the Uncharted series and she was already deep into a Star Wars action adventure game for EA before they canned it. It sounds like she may get another crack at it. Fortunately we were graced with Fallen Order which scratched that 'Uncharted / Star Wars' itch ... but I'm really looking forward to what Hennig can bring to Star Wars!

Thinking about it more, is there another time where private speech was punished by the government in such an open fashion?

Maybe little Ronnie is really mad that he can't get a park reservation or perhaps couldn't get that Genie + reservation he wanted?

I understand the sentiment behind your posts and agree but we were asked not to discuss this piece of news because it could spiral very quickly and you've posted not once but twice on it, please drop it.

I've been waiting for this a while now! I know I've mentioned this before, but the Disney Gallery stuff for The Mando is some of the most interesting documentary material around given the technology used and the Star Wars love shown by the creators and staff ... (The Marvel Assembled stuff is pretty great too)

You can watch gameplay and cut scenes on You Tube. There are some Cal/Cere scenes as well as a Trilla scene that are amazing. Highly recommend. I may (or may not) have watched the final boss scene a few dozen times. It’s amazing.

I really do want to finish it, so I won’t look ahead. 😊 I’m not against looking at videos for help, though. I did get pretty far. You guys are motivating me to just finish it lol I should just run a live stream while I play so there’s no backing out 😂
